HOMELAND INSECURITY
Backup electrical systems failed to kick in
A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained six days later.
Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

"Here's about half of Osama's message from the Italian text. It must have been written by a non Italian, since there are many mistakes & unintelligible words."
That statement reminds me of the Spain bombing...those guys may have had non-area specific dialect and/or were foreigners in the area doing a bad translation job.
It's not ruining the thread...go right ahead...

It could be something simpler.
It could be either prior passengers, airplane personnel who debug or clean the plane, or plane staff may have put something already in the bathroom and these guys have to retrieve it.
HOWEVER, it is probably easier to use the toilet water (and if it has a chemical in it already, ie chlorine, etc); then these guys could bring on the plane something as innocent looking as say, a tablet that resembles an aspirin, mix it with the toilet water and voila--- you have your concoction.
A truly terrifying thought.
Hiya Fred, long time no see!
