NAACP: "BUSH TREATS BLACK LIKE PROSTITUTES"
WMCA-NY ^ | 7.9.2004

WILMINGTON - In what has gotten to be a yearly event the NAACP leadership has taken a swipe at President Bush.

NAACP President Kweisi Mfume is saying that President Bush is treating the Black community like prostitutes by claiming to want the Black vote while snubbing the NAACP's annual convention for four consecutive years.

"We're not fools," said Mfume. "If you are going to court us, court us in the daytime, but not like we're a prostitute where you run around at night of behind closed doors and want to deal with us but not deal with us in the light of day."

Why won't he come?

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that in 2001 NAACP Chairman Julian Bond likened the Bush administration to the "Taliban". In 2002 Bond characterized Bush's civil rights policies as "snake oil". And last year, after Bush proposed to Congress and secured the largest relief dollars ever for the continent of Africa, and gave a moving and important speech repenting for America's great sin of slavery, Bond referred to the trip as an "exotic photo-op".

Mfume is now insisting that he be given a prominent speaking role in both political conventions.

Mfume is under the mistaken impression that the NAACP stands for all blacks.

Indeed.

Doesn't Mfume have seven illegitimate children by several women? He and his ilk are moral charlatans.

Well said.

The Republicans use the concept of a meritocracy and are color blind when it comes to selecting the most qualified man or woman for a position of trust and responsibility.

Actions speak louder than words... what Blacks have the Democrats placed into positions of trust... EPA is a long way from Secretary of State and National Security Ad visor

Good move by President Bush. He owes this crowd zero. All they want to do anyway is embarrass him .

Why should he attend and fawn before the NAACP just so he can get booed and give the Kerry Campaign some new commercials showing how he is "hated" by minorities?

Perhaps Queasy should realize that his false and despicable James Byrd ads royally p.o.'d some people in the Bush camp.

And that respect is earned, not given.

Yeah, Jetheee Jackthon was on the Greta "Van Scientologist" program last night, once again spewing about how blacks were "disenfranchised" in the last election, prevented from voting, blah, blah, and Greta just let him say it without any challenge. Fox News needs to get rid of her. Maybe when the Kobe Bryant and Scott Peterson trials are completed, she will join the unemployed.

Notice that this is only an issue, since Bush won't stop, bow and kiss Mfume's and Bond's rings?

If Bush would allow himself to be subjected to the NAACP's fiefdom, they'd very quickly shut up.

But then, Bush refuses (I'm proud to say) to sell out his own principles.

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

As a black man, it frustrates me that Karl Rove or whoever lets this stuff go unanswered.

I wish someone would simply write a short speech that Bush could read from the White House lawn saying:

After giving that speech, he could just turn around, go back in the House, and distribute copies of what the NAACP has said about him in the past four years.

The NAACP has set itself up to be isolated in the same way Jesse Jackson has. It can be done.

The day liberal minorities wake up will be the beginning of the end of the Left. The race pimps know this. For Bush to appear at their convention would legitimize the NAACP,which in light of the Byrd ad would be foolish to say the least.

There is something very wrong with a group like the NAACP.
They invited the President of the United States to speak because they wanted to opportunity to trash him once again. Why would any intelligent person go before a group of vicious attackers and try to speak to them? The leadership of the NAACP and the Democrats set President Bush up for this publicity stunt. It is very ugly and shows the true purpose of the organization. No person with any self respect would appear before a group like the NAACP after they carried out a campaign of hatred towards President Bush. The NAACP has a true purpose and it is to keep all members Democrat and full of hate toward the GOP.

NAACP: "BUSH TREATS BLACK LIKE PROSTITUTES"

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...

Sometimes its hard to remember the difference between "prostitution" and "pandering".

But voting patterns can and DO change. We must compete. Especially since we have everything in common with a large portion of African-Americans. There is a large religious community among blacks. They are offended by the civil rights comparisons to gay activism. They want education vouchers. They agree with us on many things. We are not getting our message to them. Why shouldn't they believe the liberal NAACP if we refuse to even compete for their vote? We must compete. They haven't always voted RAT.

NAACP leadership is deluded by visions of imaginary power. Let them rant.

While NAACP is moaning and whining, millions of people of all minority races are out trying to make good lives. They, for the most part, have nothing in common with the goals of the NAACP.

On your point about Jewish voters, I have never really understood why some Jewish voters are anti-Israel. But I do think most, if not all, of those who are belong in the liberal party. It matches their total ideology. But that's not the case with many black and hispanic voters. Many who share our values vote liberal solely because they have been conned into thinking Republicans are racist and bigoted. We need to set the record straight. Eventually they will hear us.

This whole thing is a textbook example of the unabashed hypocrisy and crass chutzpah of the radical left -- get your "invitation" refused (like the "invitation" a spider gives to a fly), and then, when the attempt to lure the victim in to your pre-planned bashing session, accuse your intended victim of bashing you!

The "leadership" of the NAACP is a pack of hate-crazed bigots. If you don't do as they demand, they attack you. If you do act as they demand, they still find some excuse to attack you.

They're like a pack of rabid dogs. We know the treatment for that.

I wish someone would simply write a short speech that Bush could read from the White House lawn saying:

If the alphabet networks would carry such a speech (could you imagine the scorn Qadie Al-Quric and PJ "The Canadian" would heap on such a speech?), then you're right -- it would be the best thing the Administration could do.

I ain't holdin' my breath though.
