I agree. "Not this campaign stop, dear, I have a headache."
Remember the "you can buy a muffler with the Bush tax cut" presentation Daschle used?
Edwards made his fortune from class action litigations, sort of the same deal. He made millions on class action cases where the class action plaintiffs each got like $52 or whatever.
And how about the litigation files in those cases? I bet he took some pretty outrageous positions on brief in those cases.
My bet is that no matter who wins in the fall, Hill will be doing alot of globetrotting the next few years and try to make out like she's some world leader/international diplomat type.
Two John's in the Dem House..... Fewer than they both have in their many mansions.
This breaking story is about as alluring as the campfire scene in Blazing Saddles.
The market doesn't necessarily reflect Corporate America anymore. The "insitutions" (i.e. union and state pension boards; the ones that brought you the South Africa boycott) have fully taken over, and they want the market to tank. Indeed, the CNBC ticker is loaded with red.
Gee - I thought Edwards served in VIETNAM!!!!
Oh - maybe that was Kerry.
So we have two johns on the ticket.
Just waiting for the first good jokes on this obvious pun...
-- Joe
please send me the source if you have it of Kerry saying the UN doesn't matter.
These girls all need a cold shower.
Thanks for the post, but it's really better to just include a link to the GOP website and not make everyone load all the text into our machines. But you bet, the GOP is ready for everything.
Edwards selection is still part of the hillary plan to be POTUS in 2008; we don't have to worry about 2004; we have to worry about 2008; hillary will make sure that the kerry-edwards ticket loses big. We will dispose of the question of whether a one term senator can be president in this 2004 election setting her up in 2008; she will have been a member of the armed services committee for almost six years by then. We need to mobilize now for 2008
That info should be put in a standalone thread so it can be referenced later.
Whoa. Say no more! :)
I'm very surprised by the choice. Edwards stance on Tort Reform is going to play well for the President's reelection.
