FBI urges vigilance for July 4

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A constant stream of intelligence indicating that al Qaeda wants to strike the United States this summer or fall has led federal officials to urge increased vigilance during the Independence Day weekend, but there is no specific threat of an attack timed to the holiday.

Granny - I'm not a physician, so take this FWIW..

Milk Thistle is the herb you're wondering about. It is reported to have "theraputic" and protective effects on the liver.

Dandelion is also reported to be excellent, as is Artichoke.

Of course, it's impossible to know if either of these would have any net positive effect on a particular medical condition, but I figured I'd pass along the info as I have a family member into "herbology" (or whatever in the heck it's called) and I just happen to know a lot of this stuff as a result.

It would be pretty brain damaged for them to hit Michigan with any WMD strike, as we have a VERY large Muslim population here in Dearborn and surrounding areas. (I believe it's one of the largest in the nation).

Now, if they were targeting the GM Building off of the river ala Twin Towers..(I think the last Intel report I saw said something about an attack coming in from Canada via the water..this would put them smack headed toward what was formally the Renessaince Center - now worldwide HQ of GM).

"The Michigan hit", could mean several things.

Maybe the best way I can describe it, in real estate, we would have a listing say in unit 56, the legal would be,
Block A, Lot 12 of Golden Sage Ranches Unit 56.

But if I were talking to another agent or my secretary, it would be simply "the unit 56 listing".

Each unit is 640 acres, 1 mile on each side, but we would know we were talking about 2 1/2 acres.

I also wonder if it means "the cell from Michigan will hit -whatever?"....

I miss my TM family. I am visiting my granddaughter who is recoving well from her recent surgery and who is enduring painful twice weekly injections and another surgery in the fall. She is one brave little girl and her Grumpa and I are so proud of her. Will be back home late tomorrow and I look forward to catching up with posts on the thread.
