FBI urges vigilance for July 4

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A constant stream of intelligence indicating that al Qaeda wants to strike the United States this summer or fall has led federal officials to urge increased vigilance during the Independence Day weekend, but there is no specific threat of an attack timed to the holiday.

Definitely not a new statement. It was issued on 3/11. The original statement was issued in Arabic and sent to a London Arabic language newspaper.

Right. They invented the wheel, too. And Dippity-Doo. Can't forget that.

Yup. I try to remember that our government would declare the speed limit "classified" if they thought they could get away with it. I really think that we should "open source" intelligence information for public analysis and consumption in cases where no one is jeopardized.

BTW, yes it's an old message. I'd not seen it before, though. They think highly of themselves and their ability.

So that is not a new statement, but the troubling
part is how close is to sounding like the information
you translated yesterday and posted. It is troubling
because, while some seem to blow smoke and try to
drive fear like that of July 4th, this is actual threats
that we have seen them cary out wich leads to there
validity more than likely.

I am too tired to rant, but you do it very well.

for your sickness, didn't you say that you had Lavender?

I quit heaving, when I rubbed the outside of my nose and upper lip and my adams apple area (no I don't have an a.apple, but where it would be. with lavender. it worked in minutes.

Warm or even cold 7 up, sipped.

DRY toast. with hot Liptons tea, that is about 1/4 canned milk and lots of sugar.

Yes, that sounds awful for tea, but that is how we had it as kids, and we thought everyone did it that way, long after I
was grown, I found in a medical book that the cream and the tannic acid, was the secret, there were a bunch of big words, which I forgot, as soon as i quit laughing.

for the record it is my mom who is full Cherokee and she did things her way, my younger yuppie sisters laughed at the recipes she used. I had the last laugh, when i sent them the recipes of Mom's from a Cherokee cooking sight.

If you have peppermint or spearmint tea drink that. If not
then use the Spearmint hard candy from Walmarts, it works for stomach and coughs.

Pepto Bismo if it won't stop.

And be sure you replace the bad guys with Cultured buttermilk or yogurt to bring the stomach back into balance.

Be generous with the lavender, so you will sleep well.

If I didn't have the lavender, then go and use the Vanilla
cake flavoring, once or twice won't burn even the most delicate skin. Even take the vanilla to bed with you.

Hugs and prayers,

It might be a good idea to shut up and listen to God's message, sounds like he wants you to have a couple days off, tell hubby, to take care of you, well. As i heard God say he should do so, in fact we all did.

Well, they certainly hit our civil and military installations in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, etc. They appear to be on course, then...

This piece was an excellent refresher; it is astounding how your human translations bring it all together so logically unlike ajeeb did back a few months ago! I have seen other human translations of other pieces, but I really think you have a gift for translating Arabic into English, StillProud2BeFree. Thank you again.

Jury Convicts Elashi Brothers of Illegal Computer Sales
Jul 7, 2004 5:56 pm US/Central

A federal jury in Dallas has convicted five brothers on charges of illegally selling computers to countries that supported terrorism.

The men -- all born in the Middle East -- ran a computer business in Richardson.

The Elashi brothers were tried on 23 counts including money laundering, conspiracy and making false statements on export shipping documents.

Each count carried a maximum penalty of five or ten years in prison and fines as high as 500-thousand dollars.

Ghassan, Basman, Bayan, Hazim and Ihsan Elashi ran a computer company called InfoCom.

--Ghassan Elashi was found guilty of six counts while Basman Elashi, the company shipping clerk, was convicted on all 23 counts.
--Ihsan Elashi was found guilty of 15 counts. Haszim Elashi was found guilty on nine and Bayan Elashi was convicted on 12 counts.
--The company was found guilty on ten counts.

A trial later this year involves charges that three of the brothers used the computer business to help funnel money to a leader of the militant group Hamas.
