I believe that the "Mission Accomplished" banner referred to the aircraft carrier's mission...not to the war effort. I am surprised at your ignorance. Now that is the kind of backpedaling spin that would make a Clintonoid proud.
If you truly believe that the President's every appearance isn't a deliberate, well-planned, carefully scripted performance, then you are naive. And you obviously don't think very highly of President Bush's team, either.

...the President's every appearance isn't a deliberate, well-planned, carefully scripted performance, then you are naive. No naivete needed. The banner was deliberately planned to thank the sailors on the Lincoln by acknowledging the mission they accomplished.

Dear child,
I do NOT lie/spin. The USS Abraham Lincoln was at sea for one year without an accident. They were celebrating that amazing feat and their successful mission with the banner "Mission Accomplished". Insulting me does not hide the fact that you are unaware of the issues. Granted you may feel that way about the "Mission Accomplished" banner, but feelings do not facts make.
Calling me names doesn't impress me. But your ignorance does and I am afraid not positively. Please check your facts before accusing someone of "backpedaling spin that would make a Clintonid proud". Like I said I do NOT lie/spin.
