Wow... I am shocked that I did not feel this! (What IL town was the center of it in?)

A 4.5 is a respectable quake.

Looks like the folks in Raleigh, TN need to get their seismograph out from under the freeway:

Well, the locusts are coming.....:)
Uticans must really be wondering about the "end times".
Our neighbor mentioned that he thought it was
an earthquake, but my hubby and I sure thought
it felt like an explosion. Of course, we were sound asleep when it hit.

We just had a tornado here, wonder when we get the locusts and the frogs...

Call up your local Democrat HQ... they should be able to tell you when Kerry and his Francophile entourage are making their next visit.

Can you have the mod change the title of thread to 4.5 Quake in Northern IL?

New Madrid does not go up that far does it? (I guess it is time to do some research) - This blows me away!

GEEEEZZZZ,,, it was only a 4.5!

The only thing that is unusual about a small tremblor like this is that it is not on a knows fault line.

I am in Aurora, I just moved from CA 2 years ago. So I know what an earthquake feels like, Like a NY subway ride.
