What we have here is film highlighting a few interesting things:

Lesson 1 - If you are going to shoot an RPG at something, check the surrounding rooftops before drawing a bead.

Lesson 2 - US troops obey their rules of engagement and will not shoot your sorry ass unless you brandish a weapon.

Lesson 3 - The Iraqis know the rules of engagement.

Lesson 4 - Bodyarmor-piercing ammo is still being used against soft targets -- lesson not learned from Somalia.

Lesson 5 - US media does not show this type of newsfootage, but others do.

I don't understand the language well enough to understand what, if any, context is added to the film, but this would be good film to show here to demonstrate that the US follows its own rules of engagement. This film is proof.

It hits the pavement on the other side of him. It misses completely. The world is not two-dimensional.

That's what I thought at first. I saw it hit the ground and thought it missed. But if you watch it in slow motion, you can see the bullet goes right through his torso before hitting the ground behnd him. You can see his shirt move as it goes through him. He was wounded by that first shot (and as others said, has an "oh, sh**" moment) then the head shot kills him.

To bad after sitting back, he didn't have a little more time for the realization to form that despite repeated promises, al Sadrs Mojo didn't protect. If al Sadrs promised Mojo protection didn't work, what does that mean about the promised virgins?
