Hillary's October Surprise

Help!! A few months ago on Drudge Report, he posted a statement from Hillary Clinton where she slyly predicted an "October surprise" when asked if she would be running for Vice President this time around. Can anyone help me find the source of that quote?

The thread about Sen. Clinton being ineligible to hold the office of President is entirely incorrect. The assertion was that since the wording in the Constitution was of masculine gender (i.e. "he"), then no woman would be eligible. This is falacial. There are several women holding the office of Representative and Senator, both of which are referred to in the Constitution by the masculine "he" when describing qualification for office.

The Supreme Court would laugh at the suit if brought

I don't think we've heard the last of the Kerry infidelity allegations. Besides Wesley Clark's comment (Kerry will implode over an intern issue), Al Gore mentioned Kerry's sexual baggage a week before Drudge's story hit the net. (Kerry was vetted during Gore's VP selection process.) Hillary's October surprise comment came right on the heels of these allegations.

A freeper suggested just yesterday that Kerry will select Edwards as VP, he'll step down because of a scandal, Edwards will walk into the top spot and pick Hillary as his veep. It could happen. ;-)

Isn't Hillary on the Senate's most sought after committee - The Intelligence Committee led by Orin Hatch? Is it possible she knows about a specific threat? Steven Quayle, an intelligence specialist said Al-Qaeda are so brazen, they tell us what they're going to do before they do it. They are also persistent. They hit the trade towers in Feb. 1993 but they didn't fall so they planned another attack in 2001. What other targets have they planned but been forced to put on hold? If their pattern persists, those targets are still on the Al-Qaeda "To Do List".

If I was John Kerry, I wouldn't take any private plane rides in October!

Private or not wouldn't matter to Hillary. If John F'n Kerry were on a commercial 747 full of children
and she considered him an impediment to her climb to power she'd have him Ron Browned.

Wouldn't work. I think the elections could be suspended if something like that were to happen.... can't they?

The leadership of the democrat party has been standing on corpses for decades now, in order to access votes from special constituencies (defending partial birth infanticide, for example). A few tens of thousands more dead to regain the halls of power is of little consequence to them. Only if the democrat voters awaken and throw the current leadership from office and party power, to start fresh with men like Zell Miller (sadly, he's retiring from politics, but men like him are around, somewhere), will the party of death, hate, and mayhem have a name change.

Toricelli and Wellstone were test cases, in the eyes of power-mad democrats.

Boortz shouldn't be giving them any ideas, or may have to take drastic measures ourselves.

What? They had to release them once CBS and Sy Hersh got some of them.

I didn't read that prediction from Boortz, but I must say it's chilling.

We have no idea how many ME terrorists are living in this country at present, making plans.

How can Hillery (a pox on that name) get on the ballot in all states at this late hour...........?

I hope the GOP has an army of lawyers ready to stop this nonsense

the one thing we can count on is that Rove and the political team are totally unprepared for it.

Yeah, right. They are a bunch of amateurs. Have never successfully run a campaign, state or national. Have never had to deal with the oh-so-clever and unpredictable strategies of genius Democrats, anywhere. While you, the profoundly wise and experienced anonymous internet poster, have run dozens of national campaigns, and your candidates now sit in office, holding positions of grand political power.

I think they got some from the soldiers. Maybe others from leakers in the Pentagon. Myers called CBS and pleaded with them to keep them off the air, but Hersh was about publish his and they wanted the scoop, too.

This is why Kerry won't step down from the Senate. He knows he will not be President and he still wants a job.

they won the 2000 election by 537 votes. they were totally unprepared for the DUI allegation, and if not for James Baker et al taking charge in Florida during the court and recount battles, Gore would be president today.

regarding the current WH media and communications strategy, it stinks. and its not just "anonymous internet posters" who say that.

whatever it is - the one thing we can count on is that Rove and the political team are totally unprepared for it.

I disagree. I also disagree with Hillary. I don't believe this will be as close as people think. Bush will win in a convincing fashion.
