Miami, FL, Jun. 22 (UPI) -- The Rev. Jesse Jackson has accused Florida Gov. Jeb Bush of conducting "disenfranchisement schemes" by asking counties to purge felons from voting rolls.
In a visit to south Florida Monday, the Chicago civil rights leader tried to promote opposition to the state's use of felon removal lists, The Miami Herald reported Tuesday.

Jesse is just afraid that if people pay attention to laws that don't allow felons to vote...then his voting days are through.
I never quite understood why they call him Reverend. What exactly is he a Reverend of. I did not know that extortion, being the dems mouthpiece, and fathering illegitimate children was considered a religion.
ping
Jesse be pumpin' up da volume. Too bad he ain't got juice no mo'.
JJ was awarded an honorary Divinity degree in 2000 (I believe) when he completed a 45 minute phone interview on the ethics of abortion with somebody from the seminary he once attended (for less than a year).
Before that, he simply decreed himself a 'REVEREND' and nobody in the media questioned a damned thing. He even tried to take over King's apparatus, but Ralph Abernathy put a sharp stick in JJ's eye by dissing his lyin' @ss.
Everything about JJ is a lie. except that he is a liar and a criminal. Read 'Shakedown Artist' by Kenneth Timmerman:

LOL
If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
I'm a second generation American of Polish descent and I've heard just about every Polak Joke ever told. I don't get offended, and I can always give back as well or better than I receive. Humor is humor, and if its not true, why give a $hit?
The ironic thing about Jackson and his victocrat ilk is that by branding those who oppose things such as welfare abuse, criminal coddling, and public school "wilding" as racists he has labeled the very constituency he claims to represent as the foremost perpetrators of these atrocities.

Lenny
(BTW, I've never understood how one feels, or is supposed to feel, when "offended" by a joke or comment)
Someone who votes in a toga?
The reason for this is the use of the PROVISIONAL BALLOTS during an election. If you believe you are eligible to vote you simply go to the voting station and are issued a "provisional ballot" which you fill out your name and then ARE ALLOWED TO VOTE.
In 2002 there were so many provisional voters that THEY RAN OUT OF FORMS in Miami.
The goal is very clear, flood the polling stations with the ineligible and then run to court demanding yet again "each vote count".
If they were serious about this they would not be going to court, they would be filling out the simple form to restore voting rights.
Criminals are all that are left in the Democrat party it seems. This makes sense to me for them.
Right. Is Jesse in favor of enfranchising redneck trailer park trash white convicts? Oh Jesse, be careful what you ask for. You might find out its not entirely to your liking.
Classical voter theory, posited rational voters thinking about social issues, carefully weighing policy options, and choosing candidates whom they deemed best able to serve the public good.
You should hear the vicious racism that is spewed by black felons. It is not just a Democrat vote, it is an anti-anthing but black vote.
92% of the african american vote goes to democrats. The are going for the automatic restoration rather than filling out the simple rights restoration form. (posted above)
The ultimate question we should be asking is WHO IS THE JUDGE in this case. That will be the deciding factor. Does anyone have the name of the case?
Yes all rights can be restored see #53. Even the 2nd Amend rights provided he/she was not convicted of certain violent crimes. (robbing a bank with a gun, murder, the usual violent stuff)
I think a law would have to change to reinstate felons.
