Remember, they also have 10 more hostages, Americans and European.

What ever happened to the US Soldier that was taken hostage a few months back? It was about the same time that they had Thomas Hammill hostage before he escaped. If he is still a hostage, he must not be forgotten!!

With a few searches, I was able to find the names.

Pfc. Keith "Matthew" Maupin of Batavia, Ohio is still missing and as far as I can tell is still listed as captured.

Sgt. Elmer Krause of Greensboro, NC, who went missing about the same time as Maupin, was found dead in late April.

You forgot the pics of Danny Pearl. I get your meaning though.

I hope our government --- or if not ours then a tougher one --- that all those hostages will be released unharmed or one by one the mosques and whatever else muslims might worship will be blown to smithereens.

New info from HAL9000:

Mr. Kim Chun-ho seems to have some inconsistencies in his report - Yonhap News -

Kim Kidnapped Possibly on May 30, not June 17, Vice Foreign Minister Says

SEOUL, June 23 (Yonhap) -- Kim Sun-il, the South Korean killed in Iraq, was likely kidnapped on May 30, not June 17, as earlier claimed by Kim's company boss, Vice Foreign Minister Choi Young-jin said Wednesday.

Initially, Kim Chun-ho, president of Cana General Trading Co., the company for which the Kim worked as an Arabic interpreter, reported to the South Korean government that he was kidnapped on June 17. He then revised this, first to June 15 and then May 30, Choi said.

I can't imagine how horrible it would be to see your loved one after such a death. The beheadings are no different than what happened on 9-11, it will take the loser terrorists a lot longer this way. It makes me madder every time I hear they've done this. War is War, they started it we didn't, but we dang well will finish it! I pray sooner rather than later!

I like this photo better. It is from Yahoo last year. It's the head of a Palestinian suicide bomber whose head survived, minus the torso. "Anyone see my body around here?", or "Help, my head has fallen, and it can't get up!".

"Just wait until it happens here -- wait until someone gets plucked off the street and a video ends up on the net... It doesn't take much to kidnap and cut someone's head off with a steak knife... I shudder..."

That is just the panty waste thinking that encourages those bastards. Grow a set of balls.

That's what I've been hearing. I would like to see SK use this tactic: with every day you continue to hold the hostage, the ROK forces will INCREASE by AT LEAST 1,000.

Agreed bootless. Definitely would deliver a clear message that their cowardly tactics are backfiring.

All the best.

I am honestly beyond words Cy. I was talking to my sis about this the whole night on the phone, and honestly I was almost emotional about it. Those are not people, and they are not animals (because no animal could ever do what they did). They are monstrosities! How can they grab a person, parade him on TV and have him plead for his life, and then cut off his head?

Honestly, Islam is warped. Are there good muslims ....yes, they exist. But there are many bad ones ....and moreover the religion itself, Islam, is rife with injustice and mire. Think about it ....if a muslim follows the tenets of Islam to the letter, to the letter, what do you have?

Some years ago i used to think myself open to almost anything. Nowadays i know there is only one way i can view Islam .....as the quintessence of unabated evil.

And the funny thing is this ....I have not yet seen any imams come forth and give televised statements on how wrong the terrorist acts are. All I hear is some spokespeople from this and that Islamic group giving excuses that it is due to American foreign policy. But no mea culpas, no fatwas (from clerics and imams), no such thing ...and infact nothing from clerics and imams.

Anyways, hope you are A-ok.

You're making a mistake if you think Al Jazeera's propaganda about the prison stuff was ineffective.

Thanks for your vote of support. If I'm soggy wet, I suppose that means I cannot be a flaming idiot, like some of the folks I'm "debating."

What do you propose, cookies and milk and maybe a teddy bear to appease these monsters.

When they separate your head from your body it will be too late to change your mind.

Why are you directing this at me? I am in favor of going back into Fallujah and cleaning house.

others may happen across our little exchange of posts, and perhaps some of them will have open minds.

That would be me.

I understood quite well from the beginning that what President Bush was attempting to do was nothing short of Grand Strategy, that he was not, as Foggy Bottom has advocated for several generations, content with the staus quo in the Arab World, but saw that the only breakthrough would be one of enormous risk, that of helping to nurture, as we did in Japan, a free and democratic Iraq which would stand as a model in the Arab world.

I am mature enough and steady-willed enough to allow some time for this venture to mature. The fact that the Kurds have a thriving democracy in their enclave in the north, gives me reason to hope. The fact that the Iraqis have generally rejected the theocrats who have stood for election in the numerous municipal elections that have already taken place, also gives me hope.

Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say. What President Bush is risking here is of the same order that President Reagan risked, that a region of the world can break out of tyranny and move toward freedom. It's too early to say whether this risk will succeed or fail. But I'd rather give this "strategery" a chance than stick with the old failed policies of the Arabists at Foggy Bottom who just live for stability.

I was not one who was "hoaxed" by this war. Perhaps you were.

Are you saying, then, that George W. Bush was lying in 2000 when he -- as a presidential candidate -- would not engage in silly attempts at "nation-building?"

Anyone who has children empathizes deeply with these sorrowful parents.

These are heartbreaking images. Too sad for words.
