Yes, I agree, but I also
read the passion in his post.
Serious swearing is not permitted here.
I don't think Christian4Bush crossed the line.
Thanks for the love. I will admit that my language was inappropriate, and that there are ways to mask it without saying what I did. It's just that everyone has a snapping point, and I reached mine. Should the admins flame me, or get rid of me, I can't blame them.
What gives yall? Where is Christian4Bush out of line?
Thanks again. Part of it was likely the language I used. As for the rest, you'll have to ask the people. I've got to go to a meeting.
Bingo!
That's what I've been hearing. I would like to see SK use this tactic: with every day you continue to hold the hostage, the ROK forces will INCREASE by AT LEAST 1,000. My condolences to our allies in Korea.
Same here...
Well, just remember, these actions do not just hurt the victim, they also hurt their families who have to live with knowing their loved one died so brutally.
As for the pigs who kill them, well, they WANT to die. Killing them is no deterrent - since we no longer practise crucifixtion - but knowing THIER families will suffer as a consequence may just have an impact on this tribalist culture.
Not that we would ever do it - unfortunately. Americans are locked into western concepts of "civlized" war.
Prayers for his family and country.
To hell with those who did this.
A couple of thoughts. How will SK react I wonder.
If this keeps happening, civilians will flee the rebuilding of Iraq and who could blame them. Not good at all.
Something has to be done about this BS, NOW. Right NOW.
How long before a female hostage gets decapitated?
We absolutely have to step this war up 100 fold and eradicate these swine.
Also, one last thought.. Some of the infighting here, Bush bashing..and surely outside of FR..is EXACTLY what the scumbags hope for when they do this.
Im not giving them that.
eom
All I know about ROK Marines is that during the summer of 1955 we ate in the same Mess hall at a US Army base in down town Taegue. Even the flies that were so thick they blocked out the noonday sun-never went near their table.
But we've been bombing. We can't just drop WMD's because it would take MONTHS upon MONTHS to evacuate personnel, allied forces, etc. We had the luxury of having not yet invaded Japan when Truman dropped the A-Bombs. The reality is that we need to either:
1) Beef up forces and gut the place like a dead fish,
or
2) Start ratcheting up some serious pressure on Saudi Arabia, where a good deal of terrorist money still emanates.
I believe that we, as a country, need to ask ourselves what price WE are willing to pay to do away with this cancer...
It may involve MUCH higher oil prices...

Thank you. You are dead on. For a NEWBIE, or an old timer, the "attitude" is not very "Christian4Bush" like.
Your posts are dropping like flies. Might even get a little Kitty Ozone here..................dig a little deeper.
The convictions of the mind are imprisoned by the heart.
Thank you .. i sent an email to the political addy you provided. One of outrage & sympathy...
I like that. It might work too.
1. South Korea would still send the 3,000 troops they were originally going to send.
2. The civilian contractors from South Korea would be removed from Iraq.
So basically it all boils down to this: sometime in the next few days there will be 3,000+ South Korean troops in Iraq, and 0 (that's zero) civilian contractors.
Is there some way we can sack the entire leadership in the U.S. Department of Defense, and replace them with South Korea's defense ministry? They seem to be the only ones who have figured out that this is still a f#%&ing war, and not a Peace Corps operation.

Whenever you "talk" about a poster,
whether newbie or oldtimer,
it is common FR courtesy to ping
that person.
Your post #168 is the absolute truth.
Most people don't "get it", unfortunately.
How many years do we have to endure this bullshit before we finally start talking to these beasts in a language that they can understand - leveling cities. 2 years? 3 years? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? This is not going to end until we end it.
I think I'll use that as a tag line for a while.
