Cheney's pretty worked up about the press distortions. Borger seems very dense. After a thorough explanation from Cheney she can still ask, "bottom line, though...Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11?" (Patiently, again, he replies, "no evidence." Borger doesn't seem to understand that no-evidence is not the same as no-connection.)

John Kerry say this is the worst economy since the Great Depression. That's just wrong. And anybody who hears that says, `What the hell's he talking about?' He doesn't know what he's talking about obviously...

That's the first time I've heard Dick swear.

Trent Lott is on O'Reilly. Lott is advocating creation of an Intelligence Czar position to operate out of the White House and to be responsible for many, but not all, of the intelligence agencies that currently exist.

I thought that's what the new Homeland Security Department Secretary was supposed to be.

More government isn't the answer to terrorism.

Hey Media .. Get the plugs out of your ears and PAY ATTENTION

Are you REALLY THAT STUPID???

We of the media resent that remark. Our reporters
poke their heads everywhere to derive the truth.
As shown below, our reporter has looked high,
and it now looking low.

Reporter: No, I see no connection between al-Qaeda and Iraq.

The commissioners (one D and the other R) said they didn't know what all the fuss was about. That the connection between the two was clearly established.

The problem is that the 9/11 Commission and some of its members operate a direct conduit to the liberal media where they print all the lies unfit to print. The lunatics like Imus, Barnicle, Jay Severin all repeat for the consumption of their listeners the lies and the lies spread.

And the 9/11 Commissioners are too freaking stupid and self improtant to even understand that they are being played. Walking, talking useful idiots.

Thanks for the ping. There's another thread on this and I'm reading that first.

Saw Jim Thompson from the commission on O'Reilly say he has heard President Bush and VP Cheney speak on the subject and he said they are absolutely right.

Thompson said today's media stories are all wrong.

Thanks! Cheney got riled up. I am looking forward to that debate between him and the Dim Veep candidate.

Borger seems very dense...

She misquoted this report at least two times during the interview.

That was a hell of an interview. The campaign should have Cheney out front talking to the media 24/7. Despite what the other side deceives themselves into thinking, Dick Cheney is a huge asset for the Bush campaign.

BORGER: And they say that there was not one forged and you were saying yes, that there was. Do you know things that the commission does not know?

Vice Pres. CHENEY: Probably.

Dick Cheney is great. He kicked some major butt in this interview.

BORGER: Was Iraq involved?
Vice Pres. CHENEY: We don't know.
So why are we there?

Tell me you're not serious.
