'Originally heard Charlton Heston would be in attendance, then heard he would not due to his health.'

The same goes for Kirk Douglas. And Billy Graham is still in the hospital himself.

Looks like the road to the Library is wall to wall with cars pulled off to pay final respects.

Whiner is right. This "guy" was pretty bitter about something.

We are so blessed to not have that bitterness inside of us.

My father will have been gone 8 years in July, and my mother still piles up pillows on his side of the bed at night ....

Isn't love something....loss is, too.

My mom died 19 years ago & my father still has her outside work coat hanging next to his in the hallway by the garage door. I made the mistake of attempting to take it to Goodwill once.

Won't do that again !!!!

Chris Wallace: "Nice size crowds."

Me to Chris: "After this week, your still surprised?"

Because in the liberals view of the world - the individual means nothing. we are all jump a lump of flesh, without a soul. the state means everything.

Well, duh, chrissy...that is THE difference between the GOP & the Dems.

The dems do not believe in the individual. It is the most dangerous threat to their power.

No kidding! Britt was starting to get on board with Chris, wondering why so many people have come out to pay respects, since he's been out of office and public eye for so long.

Gee, guys, do ya think we are showing love and respect for a man that loved us, respected the White House, and did what was right for the country, unlike our shameful 42nd president? Might that have something to do with it?

Chris Wallace and Brit need to realize---this service is for the family and friends in California. The political one was last evening and this morning.

I was willing to cut them a microgram of slack given all the dignitaries and greetings that must have taken place yesterday. But then I saw on a rebroadcast that they were nodding off during Mulroney's tribute that was anything but boring and right after Baroness Thatcher's piece that had every one of us riveted on every word. But of course x42 and partner tuned it out. The solace I take is that it made them look soooooo bad.

Why are Republicans so respectful to the individual and the Democrats so mean to them.

If you mean the Democrats/liberals that made ad hominen attacks on Reagan...
I suspect that for some the anger comes from realizing that Reagan was once a Democrat.

They see him as a villinous traitor and also think "what might have been"
if they'd kept him on the Democratic plantation.
