Helen Thomas hasn't changed over the years -- she was so nasty to Nancy Reagan -- still makes me mad.
These comments are typical Helen Thomas -- spin and mean-spirited together.
A FReeper posted earlier about a press-corp dinner where Pres. Reagan invited Nancy to say some nice words to the press, and she just stood up beside him and smiled...no nice words, just a wordless statement which spoke volumes
Does anybody else remember this? I *barely* have a recollection of the event, would love to read a report about it.
