LIVE THREAD--Reagan State Funeral Ceremony: Lying in State at the Rotunda (6/11/04)
It is an awesome song! I wish we'd do it in church.
The Beast looks like she is dreaming of the day when she becomes the "Widow Clinton".
You're back on messenger!
Well alright!
Sorry. In=with. The press pool that travels with Kerry. I must better proofread you says. You be correct.
It's clear to me that he called the press off on 6/9, allegedly for his daughter's graduation. But they followed him around on 6/8 (when he flew from D.C. to Burbank, visited the Reagan Library, "strolled" around UCLA for an hour and went to dinner with his daughters) and 6/10 (when he returned to Washington, visited with McAwful at the DNC in front of "enthusiastic" DNC staffers and actually showed up at a Senate office building for a day). The press took the pictures at the Reagan library.
They are disgusting. They have so tained the office of President. I think that this week people reflecting on the Reagan Revolution and Reagan's class are remembering what the office means, the respect that it's due. I'm not saying the GWB is doing the office a disservice, it's just that he is fighting an up hill battle with the left and other dissenters.
It's a reminder of what we have lost and how society has sunk by 8 years of anything goes. It's a clear signal that we cannot hand over the office to the likes of Kerry and other socialists.
Whole thing being played now on FOX : )
I've been waiting for another Reagan-like leader to step forward and grab the reigns of power since 1989. Ain't gonna happen. But there's nothing wrong in hoping that the best America has to offer will someday step forward and lead this great nation, in the same way President Reagan did. Nothing wrong at all.
President Bush is not Ronald Reagan and never will be. President Bush emulates Reagan on many issues and can be very Reaganesque. I like Bush and will vote for him again.
Bottomline. At this point the President needs all the support he can muster. It's gonna be a rough road to victory.
Who occupied the other two front seats?

ATLANTA -- Michael Stanley Dukakis, a self-described "very, very long- shot" candidate just 16 months ago, last night became the Democratic nominee for president and his party's best hope to win the White House since 1976. Earlier, Sen. John F. Kerry took to the convention hall podium, telling the delegates that the "moral darkness" of President Reagan's presidency will soon end.

That speech MUST be on video!
Where the heck is the Sortof-Right Reverend Bishop John Bryson Chane from?
I consider eternal life
something important to avoid doubt and uncertainty on.
I suspect today is a better day to encourage people to pray for her toward removing whatever degree of doubt may exist than a month hence.
I have no apology for that.
I'm confident that Ronnie as well as Michael would go to more outrageous extremes if they thought it helpful to insure her presence in Heaven.
I would feel the same way were I to know she were going to read this. Sometimes all of us need a strong nudge toward what's good and necessary. Times like these are times when such nudges are most effective. I have no apology for that.
God plays for eternity.
So do I.
Amen.
Sorry, but Lincoln was born in Harden Co in Kentucky, not in Illnois.
It sure is lying by omission by the CONN(criminal old news media),and they have gotten away with it. Now comes the new media like FNC,and freerepublic. Even children can confront their lying teachers about anti GOP propaganda.
I guess I needed to add a joke tag to that one. Sorry.
Is it workable for you to enquire as to whether the news we've heard about Billdo and Shrillery's treatment of the military and Sec Serv aids is accurate?
Would be great to get such a first hand confirmation.
