Right now, out in America, there are some proud mothers watching their sons carrying the body of President reagan....what an honor

Well said, Peach -- the attraction of the live thread is the commentary on whatever is being heard or shown that moment. If that happens to be the Clintons, so be it. anyone seeking a Clinton-free memorial thread can save the thing to a word processing program and excise the offending posts. Easy as pie.
God bless President Reagan, and all who mourn him today.

To fallen soldiers let us sing
Where no rockets fly nor bullets wing
Our broken brothers let us bring
To the mansions of the Lord
No more bleeding, no more fight
No more pleading through the night
Just divine embrace,eternal Light
In the Mansions of the Lord
Where no mothers cry and no children weep
We will stand and guard though the angels sleep
Through the ages safely keep
The Mansions of the Lord

Man...that was hard to watch. I'm sure Michael has always felt strong commonality with his dad but still somewhat the odd man out. Divorce always leaves painful residue even with the best intentions.
Very sad. A decent grown man weeping for his lost dad. I can relate to that.

I don't know the name of it, but that music was in the Mel Gibson film "We Were Soldier's" Thank you. One of the most moving pieces I have ever heard.

I just can't say enough wonderful things about how perfect Maj Gen Galen Jackman has been all week, escorting Mrs Reagan. She seems to trust him so completely and he seems to anticipate her every need.
