Such is that time, O Lord, for another has fallen prey to a hostage situation, and his life will be taken if demands are not met. We join before the Throne of Grace on behalf of this captive South Korean national, that You would intervene and that he will be spared. Bring forth his rescue, yet preserve the integrity of the coalition, for we know that such evil must be wiped from the face of this earth. Mightily stir the nations to concentrated efforts, for increasingly are the people at risk. Grant success to this mission, Merciful Father ... may this hostage be returned to safety, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
Amen, amen, amen!
Don't know if this has been posted from Jill, I do know it is causing some concern and alarm:

Note From Jill:
Shortly after the news broke about the beheading of Paul Johnson, several of the 'credible' (and I use that term loosely) Arabic forums became inaccessible. After some time, they were available again, but only if you were a registered user. They also disabled their new member registration function. This occurred on at least 5 of the main forums that have been proven to contain credible information regarding terrorist activities and/or threat specific intelligence.
Remember our discussion regarding Mubarak the other day....
Mubarak appoints acting president
By Yoav Stern
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who traveled to Germany yesterday for surgery to repair a slipped disc, has appointed Prime Minister Atef Obeid as acting president during his absence, Egypt's semiofficial Middle East News Agency reported.
While Mubarak has asked either the prime minister or the defense minister to replace him during previous absences, their authority in those cases was limited to protocol matters. No official announcement naming an acting president has ever been made.
Nor has Mubarak ever appointed a vice president, as Egypt's constitution requires.
No date has been given for Mubarak's return after today's scheduled surgery, and officials say it depends on whether he requires physiotherapy afterward. But the prevailing assessment is that he will return in about a week, and will then need to rest for a month before returning to work full-time.
The 76-year-old Mubarak, who has been president since 1981, is planning to run for another five-year term in November. In addition, several major policy issues will require his personal involvement in the coming weeks, including Egypt's role in Israel's planned disengagement from Gaza and a growing public demand for internal reforms. The Egyptian press is predicting that Obeid's government will soon be disbanded and many ministers will lose their seats in the ensuing reshuffle.
Mubarak has appeared in public only once since returning from a state visit to Moscow on May 29. All official meetings since then have been held at his residential palace rather than his offices.
This has raised the question of his successor, as it did when he fell ill during a nationally broadcast speech last November. There has been speculation that Mubarak will soon deal with this issue by appointing two vice presidents, for military and civilian affairs, respectively. Two people who have frequently been cited as possible candidates are Egypt's intelligence chief, Omar Suleiman, and the president's son, Gamal Mubarak.
In an unprecedented move, the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood yesterday wished Mubarak a speedy recovery.

Well, it appears that he is alive. But it sounds as if his health is not as it should be. This bears watching.
FALLUJAH, Iraq A day after an American airstrike destroyed six homes in this flash-point city, a senior Iraqi official said Sunday that 23 of 26 people killed in the attack were foreign terrorists, including men from Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
American officials had justified the strike on Saturday, the first major military action in Fallujah since U.S. forces pulled out of the city in early May, by saying that the homes that were singled out were being used by agents of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq and the suspected mastermind of dozens of suicide attacks.
Still sounds odd to me too. That's why I posted it, we should watch the outcome of this.
