Nancy Reagan's comments on GWB
me

I know these threads are frowned upon but seriously I have been searching all morning. I know someone posted an article earlier this week in which Nancy Reagan expressed her support for GW Bush. Can anyone help me find it?
TOPICS: Politics/Elections; Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: bush; nancy; reagan
To: brothers4thID
Of course Nancy supports GWB. The media just loves to try to drive wedges between Republicans. Every interview now includes a question on stem-cell research, and increasingly avoids questions about President Reagan.

Just googled in Nancy Reagan supports President Bush and everything came back about the stem cell issue. Unbelieveable!

I know she does and I'm looking for the excellent article that a fellow Freeper posted earlier this week.
I hate using google as a research tool these days- you get all the chafe and little of the wheat. However, I did also try a Google search (hangs head in shame)

A Google site search took me to Freeper reaganman's links page. I found the following link there:
Nancy Reagan Endorses G.W. Bush. So I clicked on that and found out that the article has been deleted.

We will witness her support when she attends the GOP convention in August!!!

"I hate using google as a research tool these days- you get all the chafe and little of the wheat." Amen to that.
You may want to try the freeware program named Copernic Agent. It is a search tool that searches about 10 of the top search sites.
The feature I like about it is that there is a little check box that says, "Exact phrase," so that you can eliminate most of the chafe. Just make sure you click on the freeware version link. :-)

Thanks for that info! Google might as well put a banner up -- we support the DNC!

She will be an activist on the stem-cell issue, along with Hatch, McCain, Hagel and the other RINO's, before and after the convention.

I found
this link just now.
The article claims she called Bush "a candidate Ronnie would be proud of."

The article I found was for a 2000 endorsement(USA Today May 5th 2000). I imagine Nancy's mind has been off politics and on the devastating disease that cost her husband a loss of memory and finally his life...I would not look for a political statement about Bush anytime soon.

The feature I like about it is that there is a little check box that says, "Exact phrase," ... Google can do the same thing. There is a difference between searching Nancy Reagan endorses and "Nancy Reagan endorses" Note the presence of quotation marks in the second one.
I did find the article at Salon, from May 2000, and ...
http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/e1803.htm
Most of the search engine hits related to the use of embryonic stem cells, and we know whose water the media will carry on that issue.

"Google can do the same thing. There is a difference between searching Nancy Reagan endorses and "Nancy Reagan endorses" Note the presence of quotation marks in the second one." I was just speaking from personal experience about searches in general. I wasn't necessarily speaking of this particular topic.
Google has always disappointed me and Copernic has yet to fail me.
