Would Ronald Reagan support fetal cannibalism? I don't think so.

There has been a break through in stemm-cell production in Germany. Here production of stem-cells is forbidden as well. Thus scientists had to find alternatives.
Apparently they can produce stem-cells from blood-cells from anyone and reproduce different cells of the developed human body...

What is it like, being so ghoulish?

Would the destruction of six million Jews had been worth it, if it had cured cancer?

No. His order concerns only Federal stemcell families anyway. Stick to principle.

I am totally opposed to abortion once a fetus develops. At the embryonic stage it really doesn't bother me. I'm not one of those who believes that God zaps a soul into every combination of sperm and egg at that very instant.

Yes, but only with the written consent of each fetus they are to be taken from. Otherwise...NO!

Should President Bush temporarily lift his ban on new lines of stemcells?

Isn't that kinda like suggesting that for the next 24 hours you can off anybody you don't like and not get blamed for it?

If something is morally wrong, it is always morally wrong.

The Utilitarian Creed:

So long as fetuses are being destroyed during abortion, we might as well stripmine them.

No. One cannot "temporarily" lower a moral standard.

Your rationalization is precisely the argument every mother who aobrts her baby wil use.

We can get all the stem cell material we need from unbilical cord tissue from new born live babies -- available in every maternity ward in the USA. We don't need to create a baby factory and kill human embryos for these cells. This is a false argument put forth by the pro-aborts.

It has never been proposed that stem cells be harvested from aborted fetuses. You may be confusing this issue with fetal tissue research.

Embyronic stem cell research involves creating embryos then harvesting stem cells when the embryo grows to about 16 cells in size. This destroys (KILLS) the embryo.

What the media won't tell you is that ADULT stem cells have already been saving lives for several years, and that there are tumor and cancer side-effects from embryonic stem cell use.

NO NO NO a thousand times NO.

How shameful of Bob Dole. He was on with Brokejaw....and says.....if they really want to honor Ronald Reagan they can allow stem cell research.

I would have throttled him if I could.
