This picture bothered me through the service this evening. Is this guy ill or is he just showing an utter lack of respect to President Reagan?

Yea, Stevens even used the word, "malaise" during his speech. He may as well just said Carter's name, LOL.

"the doctor said he remained sweet and cheerful throughout.."

Thank you for posting that. It is very significant to me. I suspect that his "insides" were really being displayed so that we could know he was truly made of all that he portrayed.

I was GLAD for the music today....we are CELEBRATING A LIFE, in my opinion....a life lived long, and VERY WELL. Obviously, the Reagan's decided to have music, since they made the plans.

I loved the music. Nothing was more moving than when Amazing Grace was played earlier today. I also liked hearing the drums beat during the procession but the stupid commentators on practically every channel talked over them.

So what? This is a family in mourning, and I'd ask for a little peace. I'm sorry if it's beyond you or others to ask that they not be nit-picked at this particular time.

Levin's fat. So is Mikulski.

Ever see pictures of a brontosaurus? They're so huge they have to stay in water all the time to hold themselves up.

Portable wading pools are next for these two.

It happened during the Watergate scandal...it tended to overshadow a lot of other stuff in the media at least.

The two on the bottom seated are showeing disrespect by their indifference. Do they have some kind of medical problem? His spine must have a congenital weakness.

That picture is getting really old. What unbearable self-centered arrogance, forcing everyone to look at that every time you post.

I like it. It's a nudie pic of Bo Derek with my face tatooed on her left buttock cheek. Right? That's what I see.

I've always been flattered that section9 posts it. But I see the problem you have. You'd likely prefer the pic of me tatooed on Pam Anderson's inner thigh. Or me by myself. Which is a real treat.

Darn! Yours is the first complaint I can remember.

I remember some music from JFK's funeral. Ruffles and Flourishes and Hail to the Chief, of course, but there was a song that I'd never heard before and didn't hear again for years utnil high school or maybe college. It was the Navy Hymn and I thought it was so beautiful, still do. I wanna say there was some bagpipe music, too, but I wouldn't swear to that.

YOU SAID...."The purpose of a eulogy is to praise the deceased, not draw attention to the speaker's politics."

I SAY....get over it....Ted Stevens WAS PRAISING Ronald Reagan. Get over it and give it a rest.

I don't see the point of your post.

I was responding to another post (2563) that mentioned Michael Reagan being separated from the other Reagans.

I have been wondering the same thing, since after watching hours of coverage from California and DC, I have never seen Michael Reagan with the rest of the family. No disrespect to the Reagan family, just curious as to why.

I do think you are a bit touchy and haved jumped to the wrong conclusion from my post.
