I've got tears just looking at these incredible pictures. These photos tell me two things: What an incredible man we've lost, and what incredible Americans we have in the United States.

Glad I wasn't the only one to react that way -- I was ready to throw something at my TV. It was raining hard or I would have gone outside to work myself.

Fox can take their fair and balanced and stuff it after what I heard from the stuffed shirt windbag talking about Pres Bush didn't know how to handle Washington. It was totally inappropriate IMHO. His dislike was quite obvious. Personally don't think Pres Bush cares about the Washington social scene.

Fox is really getting on my nerves with this funeral. Also bugs me that Gollier is reporting from the G-8 summit because it seems pretty obvious that President Bush is not his favorite person. Much prefer Jim Angle. I think if I see the clip of Leahy attacking Ashcroft one more time, I will throw something at the TV.

My husband grew up near Pt. Mugu and there is a lot of agriculture out there, including along the highway... As I recall, nearby Oxnard is the Lemon Capital of the World :).

Great picture, indeed. I hope there is a memorial book (such as was done with JFK) with a great many of these photos.

Well, Jim Angle did have the interview with Laura Bush this morning. That was good.

Wow, that is just an amazing photo, along with the fellow on the back of his truck.

This must comfort his family so much to see what he meant to so many Americans.

I just spent time catching up on tv shows in my PVR and watched the H&C interview with Ted Rall. Good grief. Why do they even interview such ....people?

Shall we continue here when the plane arrives or start a new thread?

"My daughter will edit it and put all the events from this week onto one cd I hope."

Well, can't beat that for sure!

Did you take that emotionally moving pic of the truck driver? Time Magazine would pay a pretty penny for that to be on the cover.
It's an award winner.

Actually, there are relatively few poetic meters.

That's why you can sing "Amazing Grace" to the tune of "Joy to the World" (the hymn - not the Three Dog Night ditty) or to the tune of "The Theme from Gilligan's Island."

Ya know-I am weeping again, driven from yard work by rain, and just obliterated by the photo of the American, standing over his truck, hand over heart, expressing, so much, so deeply.

Thank you vanouse, I would not have wanted to miss this photo-or any of the photos on this particular thread. I believe these photos are the America, make that Americans, that President Reagan had faith in and that represent EVERYTHING the major networks media creeps do not and never will understand.

Thanks to all for posting these. Have replaced Maggie and Ronnie with this tender photo of the man on the truck.

Could I have known when Reagan's plane was closest to my home, I would have done the same thing, without the truck.

Can someone tell me all the timing of what is to transpire this afternoon? I don't want to miss it live, but I need to time my drive home appropriately.

I believe the horse-drawn procession is happening sometime around 6 PM EDT.
