GIVES THE THUMBS UP TO THE MEDIA? For what? because he was able to get in and dishonor the spirit of the event?

I liken this to his phony purple hearts - he wanted medals for a few months in battle in the same way he wanted his photo-op without spending his time in line.

Who goes to a funeral and gives a thumbs up? Be sure to save that picture, WITH THE MEDIA CAPTION, (Thank you, AP), to your hard drive!

Pretty disgusting.

I just did a quick search on the AP/Reuters news photo wire. Typed in the words "George W. Bush" and "John Kerry."

Almost all of the pictures that came up for Kerry looked like campaign stills released by the DNC (Kerry hugging adoring veterans, Kerry surrounding by doting crowds, several pics of a giant crucifix of Christ conveniently framed behind Kerry's head, Kerry reciting the Pledge of Allegiance).

Most of the photos for Bush were all unflattering (poor angles, poor lighting, Bush frowning, Bush scowling, Bush looking confusing, unflattering facial gestures).

That picture with the thumbs up really disgusts me. I hope that is his downfall.

Gee, if Kerry isn't careful that thumbs up sign to the press could give some folks the impression of collusion between the two.

That's an absolutely amazing photograph. "Thumbs up". He must think he got away with something.
