Hey GREAT Whereas! Was just watching a compilation of Charlie Rose interviews with Reagan staffers, and I got choked up all over again over what a great man he was...and so HUMBLE...No higher compliment than that he was the opposite of Martin Sheen's character on West Wing!!!;-D

I dunno - I'm getting vibes from Fairbanks that even my formal seahorse won't be appropriate. You'd think a guy who runs around with armadillos in his plus-fours wouldn't be an arbiter of high fashion, wouldntcha? OKOKOK...

The church probably isn't beer-friendly either, whaddyawannabet? I blame my stingy Protestant forbears for that. I mean, two hours of fire and brimstone and all you get is this itty bitty sip of wine? When I design my denomination the congregation's gonna rise, yell "Yo, Jesus!" and chug a tankard of ale apiece. Gimme that old time religion...

In that particular church it's probably grape juice. (This is a guess, not a put-down!) If you want wine, come over to us Whisky-palians.

Libertina,

In My Ever So Humble Opinion, that resolution is worthy of a thread all by itself, posted to Activism so others can ask their various councils to do the same. Just posted here, few will see it. Great work!!

I got a baby sitter, I have permision from the boss to leave early. All is A GO. I only wish I could get some of my conservative friends at Boeing to go with me. They are all wimping out, go a meeting, got a wedding to go to, etc.

I will see the rest of you there. Kirby Wilber said on the radio last night, he has seen the sevice schedule and calls it spectacular!

I'll probably be making an appearance as close to the last minute as I possibly can due to scheduling issues...

Yes the Navy looked sharp as did the rest of the services.

I was in the Navy during Carter and Reagan. That was the turning point of my political Life. I voted for Carter, believe it or not. (I was a conservative democrat)
The lack of repect Carter showed the military, the terible economy, gas lines, energy crises, high interest rates etc, enspired me to vote for the Republican Ronald Reagan. I have been a republican ever since.
