Attending a funeral is one of the most stressful events in life... You should never be left to mourn alone... always remember that during a sad time like this, we are loved by God.

When my Mom passed away I felt awful till the funeral. Afterward I felt better and I told the priest, who was a friend. "That's what funerals are for," he replied. Now I'll always remember that funerals are to make us feel better, to feel comforted, not to feel worse. A funeral is like a little Easter Sunday.

Funerals are definately for the living. Seems obvious, but we forget sometimes.
