Critical Resource Needs (kind & amount, in priority order):
1. Engine Strike Teams, Type 1 and 3 for structure protection
2. Tankers and Helicopters for closwe ari support
3. Crews for line construction
Major problems and concerns (control problems, social/political/economic concerns or impacts, etc.) Relate critical resources needs identified above to the Incident Action Plan.

Heaviest mixed brush, oak woodland, grass. Fuels last burned in the 1955 Refugio Fire.
Today's observed fire behavior (leave blank for non-fire events):
Backing fire with rolling material fire spread
Significant events today (closures, evacuations, significant progress made, etc.):
Large acreage increases possible.
Projected incident movement/spread during next operational period:
The fire could move into additional drainages to the east closer to Tajigues Canyon.
Growth Potential - Extreme
Difficulty of Terrain - Extreme
How likely is it that containment/control targets will be met, given the current resources and suppression/control strategy?
Unlikely due to fire behavior

Fire is about four air miles from Rancho Del Cielo. A lot of it hasn't burned since 1955, a lot of fuel there.
It's fairly windy here today in Santa Maria, temperature is 81 right now - this fire is going to be serious trouble.
