I know that I would be the best candidate. However, I choose not to run!

At some point the Pubbies are going to have to realize that not only their Base has passed them by, but the rest of the country has too.

Bill Owens is a strong pro-lifer. I think Rick Perry is too. If you have a statement on what Condi Rice's views are on abortion, please post it/them. Ditto for Bill Frist. The last time I looked, Frist had no public remarks on abortion rights.
Btw, like PresBush, John McCain is a strong pro-lifer.

There are only three non-RINO's on your list. Surely you can do better. And I'm not even too sure about Haley Barbour. I am sure about Jeb and Condi being fit for the job.

Ah! My bad, so sorry. But still, there must be some worthy 'Pubbies who are capable and willing to take on the challenge.

I am fairly conservative but I am not for a bunch of BS. Coulda fooled me. Conservatives oppose abortion on demand and don't support those candidates who support abortion on demand. Candidates like Guiliani and Powell support abortion on demand. They're not politically conservative. They're social liberals. My opinion of Condi Rice remains open, since she has no public record on the abortion issue.
I still contend, if you support people like Guiliani and Powell, your more of a moderate-centrist, then a conservative.

I'm just amazed how many people want Rice and/or Rudy. People whine that Dubya isn't conservative enough, it would be 1000 times worse with Rice or Rudy both of which are hard left on many social issues.

You were the 1st to say Watts. I was surprised it to so long for someone to mention his name. He has to be a pretty serious contender for P or VP. Solid man.
