Breaking News on Fox
Okay.... who had access enough to have dinner with chalabi so much so to get drunk with him AND know that we had broken the iranians code? Now its just speculation here, but think about those two facts.
???
I'm glad you got to see what I saw.
People here don't like McCain for political reasons, but once you've seen him in person, off camera, you never forget just how close to the edge he is.
I don't say this with any personal animosity and actually feel sorry for McCain. His horrible experience after years in captivity have clearly damaged his psyche and mental stability, as it would most of us.
I didn't see that article, so I can't really comment on it. All I know is, he's doing about as good a job as SOS as anybody could. What an awful job that would be, during a war like this....
Rudy makes more sense PR-wise, but Goss is more qualified.
and this is just the beginning - way too many optimists here. He obviously didn't resign for personal and financial reasons.
We've seen before, that when you are against something, it is probably the exact right thing to do. You have a uncanny knack for being on the wrong side of every issue.
Probably why:

.
I doubt that one very much
I think this is because of the Wilson leak, and I don't think it is necessarily bad for the election. The fact that he is a clinton holdover makes me suspicious of his involvement.
The timing is fairly neutral, the only poor aspect, is that it comes at a time when the inevitability of the Iraq situation was coming around. Though it comes after one good note, and will suck up some vaccuum till the 30th.
That's nonsense. They may not know Tenet's name, but they view the job as important and demand that someone do it well. It's not like Postmaster General or something. If there was a CIA scandal, people would want the CID replaced immediately.
I agree with the former but not the latter. CIA and State were allies against DOD. Tenet will attack Rumsfeld, not Powell and State.
So what are you doing to counter the media bias?
Writing letters to the editor of newspaper which counters the bias and lies of the mainstream press?
Going onto threads doing research and pointing out the bias and lies of the mainstream press?
The internet and conservatives have power too, we aren't helpless. Stop acting like you are.
"I will miss him," Bush said.Tenet came to the White House to inform Bush about his decision Wednesday night. "He told me he was resigning for personal reasons," Bush said. "I told him I'm sorry he's leaving. He's done a superb job on behalf of the American people."
"He's been a strong and able leader at the agency. and I will miss him," Bush said of Tenet as he got ready to board Marine One for a trip to Andrews Air Force Base, Md., and on to Europe.
"George Tenet is the kind of public servant you like to work with," the president added. "He's strong, he's resolute. He's served his nation as the director for seven years. He has been a strong and able leader at the agency. He's been a strong leader in the war on terror."
"I send my blessings to George and his family and look forward to working with him until he leaves the agency," Bush said.
Conventional wisdom had been that Tenet, who was appointed by President Bill Clinton, did not plan to stay on next year, no matter who won the White House. Tenet has been on the job since July 1997, an unusually lengthy tenure in a particularly taxing era for the intelligence community that he heads.Tenet is the son of Greek immigrants who grew up in Queens, N.Y.
Some close to Tenet have said the job overseeing more than a dozen agencies that make up the intelligence community has been taxing for him. He suffered heart problems while at the National Security Council during the Clinton administration, although a CIA official said his resignation was not health related.
On Capitol Hill, Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., called Tenet "an honorable and decent man who has served his country well in difficult times, and no one should make him a fall guy for anything."

OK, since you are always right. tell us - why did he resign? for personal and financial reasons?
that's the guy...sorry
IF???????????? IF????????????? IF??????????????
If that is inaccurate?
You stated as FACT
Have people already forgetten how Tenet did his best to stick it to Bush during the whole 'yellowcake' scandalette?
And if somebody hadn't been on this thread to correct you, it would have gone unchallenged as the truth.
I ask you again: why are you helping the liberals try to bring down the Bush administration?
I was thinking the same thing. Cheney at CIA, and Rudy as VP candidate would make the Rats pucker.
LOL! 45 minutes to RUSH ! hope he do it just like you said.
