Pretty good. Two more days to go.

The protest is scheduled for today. Very heavy police presence yesterday, maybe 50-100 outside, groups of 2-4 patrolling inside.

I'll be there all three days. I'm scheduled for mornings, but that's subject to change as my son broke his hand.

Got an organic vapors face mask, flashlight, whistle, etc...

According to the same jihad forum that had the announcement about the American killed in Riyadh, a commuter plane went down in Gabon with 27 passengers aboard.

I checked Google news, and sure enough:

Commercial plane crashes off Gabon

By SERBE MOUANGA MABIKA
ASSOCIATED PRESS WRITER

LIBREVILLE, Gabon -- A small commercial airplane crashed into the Atlantic off the West African nation of Gabon on Tuesday, company officials said. Authorities rescued 10 people on board and were searching for 20 others.

The craft was a two-engine propeller plane flown by Gabon Express, a private Gabon company, heading from the capital, Libreville, to the southern city of Franceville.

An official with the company said the plane was carrying 26 passengers and four crew members. The cause of the crash was not immediately known.

Those rescued were and in hospitals in Gabon late Tuesday morning, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. Search operations were under way for the others.

It was not immediately clear how far offshore the crash occurred.

Someone posted a link on a jihadi site refering people to a place where they could download Voice of Jihad. It links to www.koolpages.com/sot/index.html

They don't get what they are looking for LOL

Special Forces Free Four Foreign Hostages in Iraq

Tue Jun 8, 2004 09:20 AM ET MILAN, Italy (Reuters) - Special forces from the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq Tuesday freed three Italian hostages held for almost two months and a Pole abducted a week ago, authorities and the military said.

The three Italian hostages are in good physical condition, Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini said. "They were freed about one and a half hours ago by coalition forces near Baghdad. There was no bloodshed. The boys are on their way to the airport now," Frattini said on state television.

He said no deal had been cut for the hostages' release. The commander of Polish troops in Iraq said coalition special forces freed the four, including Jerzy Kos, manager of Polish company Jedynka, who was seized on June 1.

"Thanks to coalition special forces, the Polish citizen... was freed along with three other captives of Italian nationality," General Mieczyslaw Bieniek told private Polish station TVN 24. Four Italians working for a U.S. security firm were abducted on April 12 near Baghdad.

One of them was shot dead after Italy refused to bow to demands to withdraw its 2,700 troops from Iraq. Footage of the other three was shown on Arabic satellite channel Al Jazeera last week. One of them said they were being treated well.

Al Jazeera also aired a statement from the kidnappers, calling themselves the Green Battalion, urging Italian people to demonstrate against the policies of the United States and Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

Masked gunmen seized two Polish and five Iraqi staff from Polish company Jedynka's offices near Baghdad a week ago. One Pole escaped but Kos had remained captive. Link to Article

I found the article to confirm my earlier post regarding a suspicious passenger at Phila. airport. Please note that this was just reported today, but the incident happened on Saturday, June 5th. I find it strange that one of his fake id's was in the name of James Wood....the actor who after 9/11 alerted the FBI that he had flown weeks prior with what he throught were some of the 9/11 hijackers.

Suspicious Passenger Arrested At Airport Man Caught Carrying False Identification (Philadelphia...again!)

POSTED: 8:42 am EDT June 8, 2004 UPDATED: 9:38 am EDT June 8, 2004 PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia police arrested a man trying to board a Northwest Airlines flight to Houston at Philadelphia International Airport Saturday.

Detectives say screeners spotted what appeared to be a pistol in Yahkya Diarra's luggage. Diarra was stopped and searched. The alleged gun turned out to be a silver pistol-shaped cigarette lighter.

Diarra presented several forms of identification with conflicting names. Diarra's boarding pass said he was James Wood from New York City. His Texas identification said he was Yahkya Diarra from Houston but his New York license showed him again as James Wood.

Then, officers found nearly $20,000 in Diarra's possession in $100 bills.

"The bells and whistles have to go off," said Lt. Mike Chitwood. "How many travelers do you know that travel with different identifications, different names, different states and all that kind of cash unless there's something there?"

Diarra claimed he was from Liberia and lost his passport. He said he got the money from an art deal.

Diarra was arrested for giving false identification and then released. But with present concerns over terrorism and money laundering, police want to hear from anyone who may know why he was in Philadelphia.

Huh? Then why the heck did they release him in the first place? Retrospect is a good thing. LOL!

I know but I'm way past running out of hours in the day :)

I've started translating to my hand held tape recorder - it's easier than typing the translation. The result: a stack of tapes ready to be transcribed :( I can translate out loud quickly, I can read quickly, I can type quickly, but it takes me FOREVER to type a translation :(

Sigh!

I'm working on them now!
