Arkansas woman has 15th child

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Michelle Duggar is all smiles after delivering her 15th child, but she may be ready for more, her family says. Mother and child were doing well, although Michelle, 37, was feeling some discomfort because the birth was her second by Caesarean section, said her mother-in-law, Mary Duggar. “She’s a trouper. She’s just all smiles,” Mary Duggar said. Jackson Levi Duggar was born at 10:52 a.m. Sunday, weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces and measuring 20 inches. “She was wanting to do it naturally,” Mary Duggar said. But the delivery was by C-section because one of Jackson’s shoulders was presenting first. “I call him Jumping Jack because he would go in a circle,” she said. More on the way? The baby’s father, former state legislator Jim Bob Duggar, sounded a bit tired but happy after returning home Monday. He said his wife and new son were doing fine. He said he leaves the decision up to Michelle on whether to have more children. “I have always left it up to Michelle because she’s actually the one that carries them and does all the labor,” he said. “But we both love children. Even yesterday, she said she would like to have some more.” Michelle probably will be in Washington Regional Medical Center for three or four days, said her mother-in-law, who is taking care of the 14 other children. Michelle, who home schools her children and is helping to build the family’s new home in Tontitown from the ground up, started having her babies when she was 21, four years after she and Jim Bob married. Her 38-year-old husband is a real estate businessman. Their children include two sets of twins, and the parents have stuck to the letter “J” for their names. There is Joshua, 16; Jana and John-David, 14; Jill, 13; Jessa, 11; Jinger, 10; Joseph, 9; Josiah, 7; Joy-Anna, 6; Jeremiah and Jedidiah, 5; Jason, 4; James, 2; and Justin, 1. © 2004 The Associated Press. The dad has won two state senate seats, built an enormous house with just the help of his children, the family has had ZERO debt for over 14 years (no credit cards, no mortgage, etc) and no public assistance, the kids are home-schooled, so there's no burden on the public school system. The parents made good money early on through working many, many hours at their various self-owned businesses (convenience stores, real estate, insurance sales, auto sales, etc.).

Yes. I kept TRYING To find something wrong with the whole perfect-family picture. I couldn't. Except for the awful clothes the females wear and all that HAIR! I'd love for the mom to stop having baby's long enough to appear on "What Not To Wear"! Seriously, great family. Makes the rest of us look lazy!

The 7,000-square-foot family project will have 10 bathrooms, master and guest bedrooms, a laundry room with four washers and eight dryers and two dormitory-style bedrooms, one for the boys and one for the girls. Those rooms will have bunk beds, Jim Bob Duggar said, easily added for any new children.

"We've done the work from the foundation up," he said. "We're building it debt- free. We're doing it as we can afford it."

There will be two closets on either side of the laundry, one with boys clothes and one with things for the girls. The children put on whatever clothing fits.

"There once was an old woman who lived in a shoe
She had so many kids...her uterus fell out..OH!"

They might be FreeWill Baptist. I used to work at a Christian camp, and I seem to remember them having similar standards.

"The Beast"). Hyuk, hyuk, we jus' don' kno no better. Weez jus' unsofiscated hillbillies, taken yo' money to the bank every day of the week. Hyuk..

I don't think she looks particularly old. She seems average to me. What is telling is she looks very animated and happy, and her husband too.
