haven't read the whole thread, but there was an hour special on this family late last night. Was interesting. Seem like a wonderful family and their kids are awesome!!
The dad has won two state senate seats, built an enormous house with just the help of his children, the family has had ZERO debt for over 14 years (no credit cards, no mortgage, etc) and no public assistance, the kids are home-schooled, so there's no burden on the public school system. The parents made good money early on through working many, many hours at their various self-owned businesses (convenience stores, real estate, insurance sales, auto sales, etc.).
