Well, as a Catholic, I will ask the question: Is she a Catholic? The article gives little evidence any way.

We have a regular customer in the antique store that has 18 children, no twins, and is still going strong!

Someone sure has some funds to be able to support 15 kids.
But wow. Just imagine a household with 15 kids, and possibly more on the way...

Petronski, aren't strict catholics allowed to practice the "rhythm" method? I think this couple is practicing the "never let your wife rest" method. Yeesh!

If she's healthy and they can care for them and that's what they want... more power to them. None of my business.

I don't think the number of children she has given birth to has anything to do with her being Catholic and not using birth control if you that is what you mean

Children, let's learn a new word today. The word is 'prolapse.' Can you say prolapse?

Big deal! In 10th century, if memory serves, a bishop in Germany had in excess of 120!

But that would be with multiple women, though I see your point (alot of those women must have had double-digit births)

gotcha.
and I know the tradition somewhat - my family (extended, not nuclear) is quite large, though not 15 large. More power to the couple though if they can support them.
