That nails it! When I was in europe, the REAL sticking point was not that is was a war for oil BUT that it was a war to take oil away from EU members. (france, germany)

You forget the other story, Saddam had agreed to start pricing his oil in Euros thus undermining the US dollar. Just a minor point in agreement with you.

Here's the problem with what Morris said, IMHO.

He wants the President to come out and remind the people why we are "safe" in this country and that we haven't had a terrorist attack for 3 years.

Yeah, he could do that, but I can just hear the media if we have another attack, they'd be playing sound bites of the President declaring us "safe" and "taking care of the terrorists over in Iraq instead of here" and the media would say "Bush lied."

People know we haven't had a terrorist attack in three years! Morris seemed like he was trying to get the President to "set himself up for a fall."
