just picking a nit but the Democrats do have one branch of government. The Supreme Court has recently upheld sodomy and affirmative action as constitutionally protected, reaffirmed Mirnada as constitutionally required and upheld the campaign finance act that forbids independent groups from running adds in the last leg of an election. Rehnquist might be chief justice but it looks like O'Connor and Kennedy are lurching towards a leftist majority.

Point taken,............ But, George W. Bush is doing the nominating right now, and if the democrats continue on the path they are currently on, Republicans will be doing the nominating for years to come
