"In an interview today, however, Brig. Gen. Janis L. Karpinski insisted that she was "set up'' by Army officials who had her sign the letter when she had no idea of the depth of problems uncovered at the infamous prison outside Baghdad."

Hmmm boy, this is getting good. Guess she wasn't one of those who were supposed to fall in Lindsey Graham/hillary clinton's famous chain of command?

What an ass! What kind of general blames everybody but himself/herself? She was "set up", yeah right. She was in charge of those guards, wasn't she? How can she have "no idea" what was going on, unless she was derelict in her duty? Either she knew, or she should have known. I doubt she knew, but she should have known. This is exactly the sort Lindsey Graham was talking about. Everybody from her level on down in the chain of command should be carefully investigated. I'm surprised she wasn't suspended before now.
