Your post #428

The Clinton Legacy in "Arabic" is unreal. (check your freep mail) I wear a button quite frequently. It states, "Clinton Legacy (and in red under it) 9.11" Got it from Angelwood. Some people ask, what does that mean? Yours is one of the very best. It's a tear jerker. I'd love that on a button or pin to wear during the election season.

a surprise of some sort

Could be a lot of nasty surprises. About the only good surprise is if they had dug up OBL's bones.

My son's experience too.

Not a single person he talked to in Iraq liked Kerry........not even the Dems.

I'm afraid the media missed the most important thing that Bush said. Thats' too bad, but John Kerry just took it in the face. FULL SOVEREIGNTY. Not partial, not incremental, FULL SOVERIGNETY. That is VERY good news for the US, but horrible news to European nations hoping to gain Iraqi contracts by putting pressure on the US. The U.N. now has no bargaining power, as Iraqi's hate them. They will either assist because they should or they will not, but what Bush has done, is remove John Kerry's platform from viability.

European nations were hoping that Kerry would trade rebuilding contracts for their support in Iraq. That trading card has now been taken away. The media wont report on it, but I tell you there is panic in the Kerry camp tonight. At the same time that the U.N. has been set up to promote supporting a new resolution, they will have to do it for nothing in return. Germany and France will get no business from Iraq, but the U.N. will be forced to participate anyway.

Well, that is high praise coming from you! You always manage to be more objective than the rest of us -- and sometimes we don't like it........LOL.

Peter King giving Bush good props about his speech.

Not surprised that Biden is calling for Bush's ritual execution. Prat. The only man on earth who is enough of a f*#ktard to steal lines from Neil Kinnock.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

GWB is steady as she goes with our ship of state. Fine speech and I'm glad there'll be more of these.

caller to C-SPAN blasted fellow Democrats for their hatred of Bush. Said he doesn't always agree with Bush, but as a twenty-year veteran who fought in two wars (leaving parts of his body behind) he'd go to Iraq if President Bush called him up.

Fred Barnes liked it..but still said we needed to go further, address security problems...Brit pointing out there are more safe areas...

Kraut says Iraqis are the answer..Senor said this too on Chrissy...Cici is emphasizing his message of patience and perseverance.Kraut earlier it was to stop the panic in Washington..Fred had said before the speech it would be easy to bring the Republicans out of it but the media, pundits are the problem.... Rep King very approving called the last part uplifting and President did it almost lyrically.King is very supportive(Where is he on Sunday mornings?)

Anything that takes away power from the UN is a good thing.

I'm assuming this isn't the big news though...perhaps next week?

David Gergen stabbed President Bush in the back according to Barbara Bush when she was on Larry King Alive one night. She didn't explain it she just acknowledged it when King asked her. She told him to move on with the interview that was all she would say.

I don't know who is next on the pro-Bush side. I know that gossip slut Kitty Kelly is coming out with an anti-Bush book in the fall..Zinni has one coming out, too..it won't end until after the election. They just keep coming.
