HA HA HA!!! They did everything
BUT keep their activities quiet.
Took many hundreds of pics & sent
them around for show. "Activities"
included sex orgies & drinking
binges among the troops. Most of
the photoed prisoners were common
criminals, NOT intel-related.

Karpinski is BUSTED...

Ambassador Holbrooke was nominated by President Clinton to be Assistant Secretary of State for European and Canadian Affairs, and he was confirmed by the Senate on August 25,1994

Enough Said!!!!!!

Holbrooke will be baack in power if Kerry is elected, perhaps as SOS. This would be a disaster.

Holbrooke is currently acting as Kerry's foreign policy advisor, correct?

Should be enough to halt the bleeding from the right side of the aisle

Not in the most extreme cases, regrettably.

You have just touched an important point. How many of these wacko talking heads are vying for a job?

Madaline albright is touring europe representing kerry. Imagine the devestation she will cause to US international affairs! Voters need to remember the dross of politics that he will put into the halls of our governemnt.

I'm afraid the media missed the most important thing that Bush said. Thats' too bad, but John Kerry just took it in the face. FULL SOVEREIGNTY. Not partial, not incremental, FULL SOVERIGNETY. That is VERY good news for the US, but horrible news to European nations hoping to gain Iraqi contracts by putting pressure on the US. The U.N. now has no bargaining power, as Iraqi's hate them. They will either assist because they should or they will not, but what Bush has done, is remove John Kerry's platform from viability.

Interesting...I heard when he said it, but I didn't think of the ramifications of it, and especially to the Kerry platform.

I just thought of something...one of those "Reagan" type moments at the upcoming debate. The President might say, in his own self-deprecating (humorous) way, "The training wheels have been off, and the Big Foots are burning rubber", or something like that. Just a thought...

Dunno. Maybe I had a bad day. LOL Maybe it was his delivery......not enough emotion, maybe?

I suspect it was the setting, War College/Military as opposed to a campaign type event or even the more somber Oval office setting. Applause only a 1/2 doz times or so, strict protocol type approach to the delivery, business like, etc. I think he did what he wanted to do by reminding and laying out the overall plan and where we were along the time line......

I think now you see why he never requested time from the majors... jmo. If it had been that type speech he would have delivered it from the Oval Office. He did what he set out to do without a lot of fanfare.

"I would love to see a weekly news mag, on-line or in print showing all the dufus nonsense of the self-righteous American press herd"

I wonder why Fox News doesn't undertake something like this? They could call it the the Fox Newspaper, or a magazine similar to Newsweek, only fair and balanced. Maybe they could give the Times and all the other lefty rags a run for their money.

The Rats are so desperate that they will outright lie, and the press will reinforce their lies and that will give them impetus to vomit more lies and so it will go through November.

That pretty much sums it up.
