23 May News Report
BAGHDAD, Iraq - There was a news report published May 23, 2004, which suggests that Lieutenant General Ricardo Sanchez, Commander of Multi-National Forces-Iraq was aware of, and in some instances, present at Abu Ghraib while detainee abuse was occurring. It seems the libs/dems are giving Gen. Karpinski a pass and trying to get a trophy head from a 'higher-up.' They apparently concluded that trying to get Rumsfeld's first was too difficult a task; same with General Myers. So, for today, it appears they are after General Sanchez.
If they do a trophy head from a 'higher up' above Gen. Karpinski, look for them to unceasingly attack the next higher up levels anyway.

Leave it to the press to take the words of the lawyer of one of the scumbags as definitive.
Makes one wonder why we didn't see headlines like;
Clinton is a Rapist Says New Documentation (from Broaddrick's attorney)

I've noticed that some of these sleazy soldiers have some REALLY sleazy lawyers representing them.

If our press only knew how blessed they are that so many of their fellow-Americans are Christians, and thus less likely to rally their neighbors, head down to the local press, pull the plug on the AP "news"wire, tie up the accomplices who help spread the destructive untruths, and drop 'em off over un-free Cuba, with or without a parachute - and instead, being Christians, are simply turning them off, and praying for their souls.
Far cry from the treatment of the press in un-free, un-Christian countries.
Yes, I'm sure the members of our free press are grateful for their Christian neighbors, and the troops who face such cruel enemies to defend their freedom to take both life and liberty for granted.
Tell the messengers.

A statement by an attorney for an accused abuser. Consider the source and then remember that any and all bad news about our military is gospel to the america hating media.

I'm wishing the equivelent of a voo-doo spell against any and all media sources that repeats this crap about General Sanchez. I'm hoping everyone will at least complain to their representatives and news organizations by phone, fax or email that WE'RE SICK OF HEARING ABOUT THE ABUSE SCANDAL. ENOUGH ALREADY!

Leave it to the press to take the words of the lawyer of one of the scumbags as definitive. Yeah. They should have at least vetted the report with al Jazeera.

Was the Sanchez smear repeated by the Big Press? Did they apologize? Has Greg from NBC aplogized to the President yet? Can he think of one report about the administration that he regerets?

No, and even Christians can be pushed too far.
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
The polls I've seen say the American people aren't paying a lot of attention to the "prison abuse scandal". The Press is trying to keep this story going with the help of the Libs.

So the question comes up as to which came first. The Abu Ghirab scum claiming that they are innocent because someone else told them to do it, or the press claiming that someone else must have told them to do it (ideally Bush or as close to him as they can get).
To: SuziQ
If the press went after Karpinski, it would call into question the competence of a female general - something they do *not* want to do.
