Believers in the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence:
Where is Terri's independence?
I'm talking about her independence to learn and to be free from her lonely room.
To kick off Terri's May-June 2004 Dailies, our first article is by Deroy Murdock of Scripps Howard News Service.

Having spoken to the Schindlers today, I am informed that their visit with Terri today went very well. They were able to see their daughter/sister without supervision, though a high-up with Hospice stayed on premise. Whatever.
In any event, Terri was well, cheerful, responsive, chatty and enjoyed the company - even enjoyed the fuss of a room full of people.
Possibly nicest of all was that Monsignor Malanowski, Terri's friend and spiritual provider, was able to attend. Terri has not seen Monsignor in a very long time and was very intently watching and listening to him. Terri's father told me that Monsignor took time to pray aloud with Terri and she became very still and completely focused on him - her eyes never leaving him. She surely has a very close bond to him and is completely receptive of his kindness.
It has been far too long since the entire Schindler crew have been together. Today was very needed for all. According to Terri's father, she enjoyed herself thoroughly and the family was very much relieved to have what little time they could have with her. Terri's father has told me that she was incredibly interactive today. Animated, responsive and oriented.
The one troubling bit about the visit is that Terri's father confirmed that five teeth are now gone from the upper bite of Terri's mouth. No appliance or partial has been provided and the family is concerned that the lack of necessary care may cause Terri more problems in future.
Those of you who have the good fortune of spending this evening with your own kids or your own siblings or parents, I ask that you please keep the Schindler family in your thoughts and prayers tonight. Though today was a happy and long overdue day, no family should be torn apart by others in this manner. Ever.

lol. in a different life, maybe!
Thanks for posting that info, Pegita -- I thank God for the blessing of family, and pray that the Schindlers will soon experience the joy and peace of having their family whole and unthreatened very soon.
thanks for this update Pegita. I continue to look to the Lord Jesus for Terri's release to her parents.
I knew it was you as soon as I read that! LOL
ROFL IT's good that I didn't have anything in my mouth when I read this, cause it would have been all over my monitor.
They definitely dehydrated her but our medical examiner wrote a faulty coroner's report. The case cut both ways.
The Church of Scientology has various locations but their main building is just down the street from the 315 Court St. Courthouse in Clearwater, FL.
Thanks, FV
Thanks for the ping! I am signed on the list!

You know I'm ROFL myself!
Prayers continue for Terri and her family. And for all her "angels", those who are working for her near and far -- I thank God that we are together as believers in this effort against evil. We just have to each of us stay strong ourselves. So ya'll take care (take a nap if you need to, I am!).
fv, I'll see about posting that later, then. It's a great article. Hugs to you both.
Hi, AnimalLover -- thanks for posting that. Stay well.
I was listening to a talk news program where they were discussing a Supreme Court decision called "Republican National Committee vs White".
http://www.judicialcampaignconduct.org/ElectionLawWhiteMemo.pdf
In Republican Party of Minnesota v White, decided on June 27, 2002, the United States Supreme Court held that the portion of Canon 5(A) of the Minnesota Code of Judicial Conduct providing that a candidate for a judicial office, including an incumbent judge shall not announce his or her views on disputed legal or political issues, violates the First Amendment.
etc....
It seems like Minnesota has rules similar to Florida about Judicial campaigns. Anyway, the RNC took the case to court and the Supreme Court sided with the RNC. Evidently, Minneapolis still hasn't changed their laws, even though the Supreme COurt ruled against them.
I thought some of you following the Florida judicial campaigns may find this case interesting.
Good night, FR. Good night, JimRob.
Good night, Terri. May God's angels, seen and unseen, continue to guard and protect you, keeping you from all harm; may He bring comfort and peace to your family and friends.
btw -- FL engineer -- thanks again for the Terri big eyes series -- it is quite useful. Prints out to two pages, the color is excellent! Thanks for all your work for Terri. Same to you, fv, and a hug. Ya'll take care.
I really hate the term "medical ethicist," because there is nothing ethical about them. What they actually do, is work out an equation:
x situation + y whatever anyone wants to do = justification
If an official transcript of the hearing of May 26th becomes available to the public, we'll do our best to provide a link.
COMING ATTRACTIONS: How team Bushnell tried to set up Terri's dad, in my opinion. Bushnell is Felos' law partner.
Thanks for the judicial link. I have a DEFEAT GREER PING LIST. If anyone wants to join, freepmail me.
