Thank you, thank you!!

When I lived in New Orleans, back in the mid 70s, there was a man with this condition...bluish, silvery skin...who would come into the library where I worked every now and then.

The first time I saw him was a shock, and the others explained what little they knew....

Then, a few years later and up in Ohio by then, I saw an article about this family in the paper, but forgot to save it.

This answers my long-time curiosity!

Back in the early 80's I had a part time job in a card and gift shop in downtown Indianapolis. A regular customer who worked at the bank in the same building must have had this condition. The first time I saw him I thought he must have had some sort of heart or circulatory problem. He was BLUE. He wasn't in poor health, though, and no one knew the answer to his color (we didn't want to ask him).

Since lots of Kentucky people end up in Indiana, I am guessing he was related to this family.

Molly, I can't believe that you and I BOTH have seen blue people!!
