Back in the early 80's I had a part time job in a card and gift shop in downtown Indianapolis. A regular customer who worked at the bank in the same building must have had this condition. The first time I saw him I thought he must have had some sort of heart or circulatory problem. He was BLUE. He wasn't in poor health, though, and no one knew the answer to his color (we didn't want to ask him).

Since lots of Kentucky people end up in Indiana, I am guessing he was related to this family.

Molly, I can't believe that you and I BOTH have seen blue people!!

Too funny! Yes, this man was middle aged I'd guess, and otherwise looked fine...

I've tried doing Google searches to find out info, but no luck till now.

I'm pretty sure I do remember my co-workers saying he came from a family of similar people.

My first thought of course was that he was unique, and was a victim of some kind of skin disease....

Husband just got up so will tell him!

Okay, husband never saw him, just remembers me talking about him. I think this blue person worked at Loyola University which was right next to the Tulane B-School library on St Charles Ave..where I worked.
