Tapeworms live in intestines, without surgery there's no way to wave raw meat in front of them. This is how urban legends are born.

FYI: Taco Bell is owned by Pepsi Cola.

I came to a similar conclusion, but just to play devil's advocate, sometimes webmasters like to get in digs over the better judgement of their bosses.

No, the restaurant brands are now owned by Yum! foods. It's not directly affiliated with PepsiCo anymore.

Well, it IS nigh unto impossible to keep anything "clean" anymore". When I can, i buy BP because thier source is mostly North Sea.

As regards toilet paper, I live out in farm country and am surrounded by corn fields. Corn cobs make a fine substitue for a Sears catalogue, and corn-cobs are biodegrable.

Ask AmishDude. He has Many Children and knows all about this sort of thing! ;-)

The left hates walmart and tacobell. Why on earth would I want to stand with them? Is this for real?

...when someone says left of center they don't always mean politically.

That was my thought also. I'd like clarification on this.

Yeah, real leftist stuff here. This kind of thing will surely convince the ignorant masses to vote for Kerry. Someone better alert Hannity et al. /sarcasm

Perhaps the implication is that "left of center" Dems are compassionate, feeling, nice people with cute senses of humor, while Republicans are evil, grim, heartless, selfish b*st*rds.

Is this for real? The slam on Taco Bell is that leftist college students are boycotting them? And you want me to stand with them? Troll?

You really should have a drink.
Make that two drinks.

Why are people always trying to make something out of nothing?

You're obviously right, and I'm clueless. How utterly stupid of me. My bad.

With a little work, they can be made into inflammatory, Anti-American statements. Or at least sound like they were made by the U.S. media: "Be gentle - to Iraqi prisoners!" "Fire sauce - the new ketchup of AMERICAN IMPERIALIST DOGS!" "The road to mediocrity is littered with empty shell casing from U.S. artilery fired upon innocent Iraqi citizens."

LOL.....too funny. (gonna send 'em in?)

;)

I trust you meant to say "...there's not going to be anywhere RIGHT to shop." </sarcasm>

I was thinking the same thing. It would seem have been more effective in catching the tape worm by introducing the raw meat from the other end. Maybe a gerbil would do.

A very small amount of thought/research would have spared all of us this silly thread.

A very small amount of thought/research would have spared us most threads... but then what would we read?

Proud owner of stock in Yum! (although I really don't care for Taco Bell's stuff lately)

Click here for a related FR thread. Looks like there's a disconnect. At least one guy on their board of directors is a big Dem donor, but their PAC supports a lot of Pubbies. In any case, after this, I'm still not eating at Taco Bell.

I like Taco Bell, especially the macho-combo burritoes. (May be called something else now.)

I'd rather boycott Boortz.

I never said, nor did I mean to imply that you were clueless or stupid, my friend. I don't want to be involved in a petty flame war.

I just think there is nothing to this, and people are looking to make trouble over something really silly.
