Just now, looking for copy...
The press will only admit to WMD's when they are actually used by terrorists; then they will blame Bush for the movement of the previously "non-existent" weapons from Saddam's arsenal into the hands of the terrorists. So the only way in which WMD's will be acknowledged will be when their use can be blamed on Bush.
"The round was an old `binary-type' shell in which two chemicals held in separate sections are mixed after firing to produce sarin, Kimmitt said. "
From Sarin Nerve Agent Bomb Explodes in Iraq
The reason this fact is important, is that Saddam could have had tons of the two chemicals kept separately, with the intent to put them in shells, such as this and create sarin. I bet that according to the UN inspectors and liberals having the two chemicals which create sarin wouldn't count as WMD, because they didn't store them as actual sarin. This, naturally is ludicrous.
The same is most likely true about other chemical weapons: Saddam could have created them at a moment's notice, but were not stored actually ready mixed.
With the biological weapons, he could just have kept a few vials, which he could have used to create more. I read he had a lot of material, for growing cultures.
I think Bush, Rumsfeld, Powell should demand an apology from the Democrats and the media, who basically called them liars over the WMD issue.
That way, John Kerry can rush in, cut the red....no wait... blue wire and save the entire world.
The Hollywood-ization of America continues. My post is firmly tongue-in-cheek, but I wonder if that's what people think WMDs look like.
The optimum word is "stockpiles" of WMD's have not been found. Keep that in mind over the next few days.
Out in the open, it is not very effective, and can be made by any third rate wacko group with off the shelf chemicals.....
To whoever e-mailed Fox, Linda Vester began her show talkeing about WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. Good work, whoever e-mailed them!
Thanks for the ping to that article.
Coming soon to an indoor mall or convention center near you.
Hey .. he was just late getting to church
Yes for years my Dem mother believed that story till her kids grew up and straighten her out
Mustard gas and sarin gas found in Iraq. WMD found in Iraq.
Say it slow. Admit it. Don't spin it.
It's all coming together.
Kerry Flip-flops on Missing WMDs
http://newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/4/29/100540.shtml
**While the Washington press corps seems to have missed it, WABC Radio's Steve Malzberg has been playing a clip of Sen. John Kerry in his biggest flip-flop yet - showing the presumptive Democratic nominee suddenly admitting that Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction may soon turn up.***
(excerpt)
Doesn't Kerry get some type of National Security brief now that he is the candidate? Anyone think he got a heads up on these shells. According to CNN and FOx the mustard gas was discovered about two weeks ago.
Not only that, but it exploded at ground level, whereas an airburst is needed for proper dispersal of the sarin or other CW agent.
We use atropine in our ICU's to treat symtomatic nonjunctional sinus brady. (supresses vagal nerve) to speed up the heart. Atropine and some neuroleptic drugs(since they are atropine related) have atropine side effects,(psychosis, flushing, rapid heart rate, jittery "cogwheeling" motions and ataxic gait) If left to continue death could occur and/or more likely tardive diskinesia where the nervous system becomes permanently damaged.(sounds like a gas attack doesn't it? well that's the thing, you counter a very toxic agent with another very toxic antidote and the nervous system exists in tenuous equilibrium between the two, then you may have to add cogentin for the side effects of the antidote.)
I understand, unless IIBUSH or Texasflower have better info, that our soldiers in Iraq are given low daily doses of drugs to help counter any sudden attacks of nerve gas in addition to the antidote kits they are given(as well as their protective gear). What I'm not sure about is repeated assaults regarding gas and the availability of antidote doses in an on going battle scenario battle...though I'm sure the protective suits would have been donned. I, as a civilian, only know the same info as the other civilians as to sustainability in the field.
I have seen what atropine and atropine related drugs to however!
agreed. We should trumpet these findings to the high heavens as proof that Saddam was armed and dangerous.
I knew that President Bush was right! He is our greatest president since George Washington!
indeed, but that's what happens when the media defines the issue.
I can see the japanese sitting around after Hiroshima saying - "well the US can't possibly have stockpiles of atomic bombs laying around".
Malzberg is always right on top of things. He was one of the first to focus attention on the Salman Pak training camp.
Doesn't matter if it's a leftover - which it probably is - Saddam said he destroyed all of them after the Gulf War. He loed. He kept them. The questions are : how many more are there? Will the terrorists get the hardware to use them right the next time?
What do you mean by this?
