Vanilla? Repels mosquitos? REALLY?
It worked on the ones in Alaska. They're known as the state bird up there. Does ok on knats too.
Vanilla, Lavender, Peppermint (plant rubbed on skin or Essential Oil), Lemon and of course Citronella.
Deet has some bad reports on it, it has been blamed for the
Gulf War Syndrone of war #1.
Possibly the very best is the Avon Skin So soft, Original formula, I even used that on my horses.
I would be allergic to Deet, so have not tried it.
