Granny's off topic Rejoice post.

Operation 31 Flavors - Iraq Desert

Matrix Kitty update:

I didn't post about Meow, as he was a sick baby for several days and would not eat or drink, not a drop for 3 or 4 days.

I tried every food in the house, cat and human.

Finally he ate a few bites of Dinty Moore Stew, canned.

Now Meow can't get enough to eat and is starting to regain his old self.

But about 4 days ago, I found Goldie, she is more dead than alive and tiny, until a few minutes ago it was the same story, no eating or drinking.

But in the last hour she has eaten a teaspoonful of the D.M.
gravy and is now over there grooming herself.

Looks like the D.M. stew, should be kept as an emergency food for the babies.

As that was the last can, I have made arrangements to go to town tomorrow, so will more than likely be silent for several days, as shopping kills me.

There are more kitties out there, but they seem to still be on their feet, so will continue with the 2 in the house.

Yes, it is worth writing about, did you ever watch a baby starve to death? I did try every thing that I had.

It feels good to give thanks for God's rewards.

You are a good Granny to take care of those kitties. Wish I lived close by, I'd go do the shopping for you. Give the kitties a hug for me please.

Oh poor kitty's. I was thinking about you and the kitten today when I was feeding ours.

These we have are so wild you can't even pick them up and some have bobtails. All of the are strays I think we have about 11 now.

We had a kitten last spring that the mother left under the house in the crawl space. It was starving so I put food in the vent for it. And finally the mother went and got him. It was awful to hear him cry. So I know how you feel.

Congrats on your efforts to save the baby kitties Granny. I know what an effort that can be. They are God's gift to us and sadly too many do not take care of them near as well as you do Granny!

LOL Our emergency storage cupboard is FULL of Dinty Moore stew. Every time I go to the store I buy a few more cans. It's actually quite delicious. I can understand why the baby kittys love it. The ultimate survival food.
