Thank you for passing Jerseygirl's message on. No air traffic at all noticed in this neck of the woods.

Reference 4950:

I applaud you Jill, for doing the right thing. I've been following the same sites, and most seem to be preoccupied with sensational headlines and subscribers instead of saving lives. They make huge claims and gain subscribers, then sit back and forget what they started out to do in the first place.

Perhaps if they had ever witnessed a large scale terror attack firsthand, they would take a different approach, but I fear some people just exploit situations for their own personal gain and dont care a whit about others while their wallets get fat. In short, they make me sick with their arrogant pre-sumptions about knowing the terrorist mind.

They used to be called war profiteers. I have a different name for them, but I wont print it here.

Between the military and law enforcement, I have been fighting these terrorists, and a few others, since 1978. I wont post a resume, but I can guarantee I generally know what I am talking about from experience, not from a book. I've been personally exposed to them in the Phillipines, Scotland/Ireland, and the Middle East. I am a law enforcement veteran of the OKC Bombing.

The others need to wake up and smell the coffee, Jill, as well as a few federal agencies we all know and love. Terrorists generally hand us defeat because of our arrogance, and they need to realize the fact earnest humility can go a long way towards winning this war.

/rant off...and thanks for what you do.

I am the same way. I really don't understand what reason intelligent people would start this. Don't they have something else to do like get study or something.

What's there point? They can just go away.

Reference 4990:

EOM seems bent on capitalizing on the Khobar situation for propaganda purposes, and threatening similar types of attacks forthcoming in the US.

However, I give EOM as much creedence as I give a street-corner crack salesman. He's just a modern Lord Haw Haw using the internet for psyops.

Good post Piper.

Cause I adore JP and she has a huge heart. I think we all adore JP! She is the Princess Overseer of this thread really. She keeps everyone involved and active in TM.

By the way, Quix. I was thinking of you yesterday afternoon as I sat in the oral surgeon's chair waiting for the novacaine to kick in. As it did, I started feeling giddy, don't know why because it was not sweet air, just the novacaine needles. I guess I was so excited to be finally taking care of a problem tooth and that caused the giddiness. Anyway, I was laying almost completely prone and feeling lightheaded while I waited for the doc to come back in the room, when all of a sudden I started thinking of the exclamation, "Whee!" I repeated it a few times silently, smiling, and thinking of your many posts here that ended with that exclamation!

OH WHEEEEEEE! LOL!

Agreed.

As to dentists . . . am still praying . . . God said he'd fix or provide money to fix my teeth. Now several are chiped, pieces broken off etc. . . . so . . . that's another

OH WHEEEEEE area of my life!

Was standing next to a fellow in the sound booth once during a visiting evangelist's service. This particular evangelist--don't remember his name--was known for God healing people's teeth during his ministry.

He said, he personally did NOT know why God didn't often just give people new teeth. He didn't know why some got gold and some silver and some porcelin. I think he did say once that someone had a gold tooth substance analyzed and it was very special, somehow.

Anyway--he just said that God was going to be moving through the auditorium where people were. No line up front or anything. And that if you felt a sudden warmth or heat in your mouth, to go to the bathroom and see what God had done.

Well, this fellow next to me in the sound booth suddenly felt a warmth in his mouth. He didn't even know he needed a filling. He went to the bathroom and there was a bright new filling where there hadn't been at the beginning of the service.

Wheeeeeee!

God didn't do anything miraculous for the mess in my mouth then or since!

Ah well. He's The Boss.

Thanks for your encouaging, fun note!

I don't remember who the "chit-chat" girl is on FR; but I did run into a "chit-chat" girl on one of the Islamic forums and she was right up front...all she wanted to do was "chit-chat."

By golly I sure got a grin out of that.

I think we should all hope that the EOM message you posted was posted after today's incidents in Saudi Arabia. Hopefully, judicial meanz is right about it being propaganda. Otherwise, we are in trouble. There were other messages in the past few weeks that gave one the thought of an impending attack in the Kingdom, but this is not entirely new even though today's attacks did happen, since SA remains a target. Remember the posts by either EOM or daleel around Christmas which mentioned things starting in London...this was followed by the cancellations of many flights that were originating in Britain. So, this could mean that some EOM/daleel posts like the one you posted are truly valid or our poor officials must track down every single possible threat real or imagined.

Frankly, I do not think it is possible to rule anything in or out. That is why I give the government a pass on the recent alert retraction to certain cities. I really feel that by the time they know for absolutely certain that an attack is near happening, the attack will be by then way too late to stop. They will and do fare better if they can stop the attack before it is fully planned; but if they miss during that stage, then how can they stop it in progress unless it is a special situation like with Richard Reid on the plane? I think it is just the nature of the beast.

The Feds were successful in getting Ray Padilla out of the terrorist picture, but because they caught him before he actually set off a dirty bomb, the darn liberals were able to whine and say that it was all hogwash. Honestly, if we listen to the libs, a mushroom cloud will have to be visible in the air before someone could be detained for planning a nuke attack.

You're welcome. I had been out running errands and evidentally just missed her call. I wish I had been here to take it personally. All we can do is wonder what the heck is going on out there. We'll never hear the whys and wherefores. We need to thank JerseyGirl for reporting it to us, otherwise we'd never have known.

YES, I can see her as a Princess Overseer.

However, I also think she functions as quite a bit of a Mother Superior or at least a Queen.

She can kick arse and take names with the best of them! LOL.

And she's certainly nurturing, protective, assertive and fiercely productive and helpful to the thread and all the faithful on it. Guess I'm saying I see her as a lot more of a heavy duty trooper than my image of a Princess. Perhaps a Queen Esther sort of person. Though I think of her as more assertive even than that! LOL.

Anyway--I may be getting ridiculous and should go to bed.

When I first met my step-sisters after my dad's new marriage, I was down visiting their house in Phoenix. And my step-sister was in high school while I was at college at NAU in Flagstaff.

My step-sister was a ruthless, relentless, almost abusive tease. Finally after a couple of hours of such, I started to fight back or at least take up for myself. After getting only one or two good retorts thrown back at her, she said:

"[Quixbird], You're getting ridiculous, you'd better go to bed."

She wasn't about to tollerate a fraction of what she dished out! LOL.

So it became a kind of family idiom.

Anyway--I probably am getting ridiculous and I probably should go to bed!

LUB,
