My co-worker met with TSA today to discuss the security of railroad bridges. The coal fired electric plants are critically dependent on a constant feed of coal delivered by rail. Loss of a bridge could cause exhaustion of coal supply sooner than the bridge could be rebuilt. That means a long term power failure for a region. I have the means of building the necessary surveillance tools to detect and prevent that kind of attack, but TSA has no money in the budget for that sort of thing.
Why were those natural almonds recalled last week? Anyone?
If India is a fair place to observe the mix of Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs, there is no love lost between the groups. The Muslims would be quite pleased if destruction of a gas station did economic damage to either a Hindu or Sikh.
Hindus might wait a lifetime or two before seeking vengeance, Sikhs on the other hand ARE warriors and will not hesitate to open a can of whoop-ass on a Muslim.
Hindus in India just started to get angry a few years ago about the destruction of the ancient temples at Lord Rama's birthplace and the subsequent building of a mosque on that site. It happened hundreds of years ago.
Very patient, maybe too much so.

Someone told me his specualtion tonight... 'WHY' have we not had even the hint of a small attack, truck bomb etc. The law of average dictates 'something' would have happened, that we cannot stop 'every' attack, so then why have we not been attacked for them to let us know they are around.
Of course there are many reasons and some are very sound, some ethereal, but in the conclusion of things there is not one explanation that would tell us commen sense dictates, 'something' should have occured by now...objectively speaking, anyone?

Sounds very likely. Why would Israel want to sit by and wait while Iran gets all geared up to destroy them (and who knows who else)?
I also consider that the S is going to HTF at least to some degree within the next few months.
How much S and how many Fs remains to be seen.
