Virginia Beach Police Investigating 'Suspicious Circumstances' at Bayside Apartment Complex (Virginia Beach - Missing USS Theodore Roosevelt sailors)

Virginia Beach police are on the scene at an apartment complex in the 4600 block of Edwardian Court, investigating what they are calling 'suspicious circumstances.'

WAVY News 10 is told a woman called officials shortly after 9:00am Monday to report her two roommates - both sailors - were missing.

Police tell WAVY News 10 blood was found inside the apartment, located in the Bayside section of the city. Officials also say they found the apartment in disarray which, they believe, may indicate there was some type of struggle.

Authorities they are also looking for a 2003 Ford Ranger pick-up truck with any occupants inside the vehicle. The license plate number is JEZ-1662. The truck belongs to one of the two missing roommates. WAVY News 10 has learned the two missing roommates - one male, one female - did not show up for duty Sunday onboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt.

Anyone with information about the truck, it's occupants, or the missing roommates is asked to call the Crimeline at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Editor's Note: For decades one human rights observer has monitored the Mexico-U.S. border region, and finds the border body count is rising today in ways it never did before. Not only are deaths more brutal and numerous, the writer says, news of them is so habitual that border Mexicans seem unaffected by their most graphic details.

TIJUANA, Mexico--Seen from here, the number of deaths along Mexico's northern border with the United States in the last decade is entering an unusual dimension. Together with the dead, thousands of their surviving family members have become direct victims of the violence in what has become an astonishingly frightening Mexican border society. Even the way the hapless die is becoming more brutal.

---More than 411 women have been murdered and more than 500 disappeared among what is known today as "The Dead Women of Juarez," cases of mostly young, pretty women often found mutilated in the desert around Ciudad Juarez and elsewhere in the state of Chihuahua.

---More than 600 persons have been kidnapped and then disappeared, and more than 2,000 executed as a result of organized crime vendettas in northern Mexican states.

---More than 2,800 undocumented Mexican migrants have died trying to cross the U.S. border, often on the United States side.

Seen as a whole, the count of bodies is entwined with organized crime, authorities involved in crime, corruption and government impunity.

There have been many hypotheses about why so many women have died in Juarez, for instance, from the participation of police, drug traffickers, and serial killers to delinquents linked to satanic cults. What is certain is that the deaths remain unsolved and the dead continue to appear.

Explosives found at Revere Beach (Mass.)

A beachcomber discovered a small box of explosives hidden in the sand behind a Revere Beach apartment complex yesterday and carried it to the local state police barracks, where the bomb squad detonated the package on the beach.

State police surmise the box full of commercial quality explosives washed up on shore some time before it was found about 5:30 p.m. The area around the Revere Beach barracks was closed for about an hour while police investigated. Link to Article

Third set of body parts found in Virginia



Virginia Beach, VA, May. 17 (UPI) -- For the third time since May 5, a suitcase containing human body parts has been found in the Virginia Beach area, The Virginian Pilot reported Monday.

Police spokesman Don Rimer said the latest discovery came just before noon Sunday when a boater alerted police that he had found a suitcase floating near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.

On Tuesday, a university student spotted a suitcase on the shores of Fishermans Islandjust before noon and opened it. She found plastic bags containing body parts, reportedly including a human head.

The first discovery was made May 5 by a fisherman in the same area.

The remains were sent to the State Medical Examiner's office in Norfolk for examination.

Police said Sunday night that they believe they are related to those recovered earlier. In those finds, police said only the victim was a white male.

I read on http://www.assistnews.net about this poor tortured Christian who died a horrible and painful death.

I surfed the internet looking for articles by and/or about Muslims decrying the horrible torture of this young man.

None. Nada. Zip.

Yes..really chilling. That is what made me suspicious about the story on the two missing sailors. Kidnapping and murder are hallmarks of Al-Quada. I could be overly suspicious, but maybe not according to the following:

Woman with ties to militias arrested on weapons conspiracy charges

KALISPELL (AP) - A woman authorities say had ties to a militia group that was plotting to kill public officials in the Flathead Valley was arrested near Atlanta over the weekend on federal firearms charges, a federal agent said Monday.

Tracy Brockway, 34, was arrested without incident in Gordon County on Saturday morning, said Ken Bray, resident agent in charge of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Brockway is one of five people charged in a federal indictment with weapons conspiracy charges stemming from their alleged involvement in a group called Project 7. Bray said Brockway was expected to appear before a federal magistrate Monday and likely would be returned to Montana.
