Gail Sheeny from Vanity Fair? My guess because of remarks I heard her make on an anti war activist radio show from the Bay area a couple of weeks ago. This sounds like her.

Oh we could name hundreds of them - the scary thing is that they think this is acceptable and they have pulled the wool over those of us they consider idiots.
How can we get America to see them for what they are?

For sure it could be the same thoughts as Dan. This is a female magazine writer though, and Gail said much the same on that horrible radio show.
