Gail Sheeny from Vanity Fair? My guess because of remarks I heard her make on an anti war activist radio show from the Bay area a couple of weeks ago. This sounds like her.

This is despicable beyond belief, and these people are frightening me.

We're in a shooting war for the survival of Western civilization, and our elite media is wishing for military defeat for political advantage.

WALL. BLINDFOLD. CIGARETTE (OPTIONAL).

Could also sound like Dan Blather!

Yet they see nothing wrong with holding that opinion. This is not like resisting the spread of socialism, because the Communist prison camps and "re-education" facilities were predisposed to just softening up attitudes, and making them more malleable. The establishment of Shar'ia law, and the forced conversion to the Muslim faith, which provide but two choices, adopt the faith or die on the spot, is far more intrusive than just being branded an "enemy of the people". There is a faint possibility of being freed from prison some far distant time in the future under Socialist rule. The world outside the prison may not be of distinctly greater range of freedom than within the prison.

But in a world under the direction of the Wahhabists, death may prove far more restrictive than prison alone. The Iraqis must be dragged into the 21st Century if only to diminish this threat of a world-wide theocracy on the Iranian model. We of the West have an historic opportunity to forge a new more rational international presence than we have known since early in the 20th Century, before the divisions that gave rise to the Great War. Militant Islamic jihadists threaten that prospective peace.

Okay, FReeper researchers, let's get busy. What female magazine journalists are in Iraq?

Is Sheehy in Iraq? I guess Robin Wright or Judith Miller. We should look into what infobabes are over there and then it will be easy to figure out.
